The view and ease of getting to the apartment was fantastic. We were walking distance from most things which we loved. If there was a comforter or duvet on the bed, basic kitchen essentials (salt, pepper, etc) for the kitchen and beach towels it would make this a 5/5. Overall we really enjoyed our stay.

We stay for 8 days, with no internet or TV. It says it has an XCERCISE ROOM, but nothing was available. Poor communication: no response when someone is on vacation; they come to the room for work, not related to us.

If you’re looking for a great location, a nice view, comfortable bed & a clean spacious room, this is for you. If you want to cook, good luck! Only cheap paper towels for washing & drying dishes—not even a potholder. Only a tiny frying pan, but who needs a bigger one when you don’t have tongs or a spatula to lift anything out? Limited dishes & silverware. But you’ll get 3 pairs of scissors, 2 can openers, 2 vegetable peelers & 2 microwaves! The unit is clean but the balcony is filthy, & that’s where you get extra chairs as there’s only one other place to sit, a rock-hard futon. There’s a broom, but no dustpan. Be careful taking a shower or you can break your ankle in the drain. The toilet paper ends up on the floor if you use the “holder.” The 5 closet doors constantly jump off the tracks. The binder in the unit with the rules looks like a dog ate it. The living room lamp is broken. No matter how long you stay, you get only a tiny bar of soap & one small bottle of dish soap—no other cleaning supplies. There’s lots of nice beach accessories, but likely left by previous guests, not the owner, based on comments in the guest book. The owners either don’t read the comments or don’t care. The worst thing is that I was given the wrong internet password. That wasn’t the real problem; it was the inability to reach anyone in a timely manner. What if they gave me the wrong code to the door? DON’T BOOK ANYWHERE WITHOUT AN EMERGENCY PHONE NUMBER!! Illikai is great but not this unit.

Rating Details: The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Excellent Place

This is a cozy functional space for two or three people with the most beautiful view of the marina and Waikiki Beach to the left of the marina. We loved it! Easy directions make this a perfect stay in Honolulu!
