Escape to the beach and stay at this beautiful, 5 bedroom, 3 bathroom pier home located in Oceanside Village, minutes from the wonderful Atlantic Ocean! House is perfect for family gatherings. Just a short 5 minute walk to the beach or 2 minute drive on the golf cart. This home with beautiful beach decor, and all new laminate wood flooring, has been freshly painted inside and out, brand new stainless steel kitchen appliances, new kitchen cabinetry, new kitchen sink and new bathroom sinks.

The master bedroom has a king bed, 32' LCD TV, and a full private master bath. The second bedroom has a twin bed, the third bedroom has a queen bed with a 32' LCD TV and the fourth bedroom has two twin beds. There is also a pull out queen sofa bed in the living room for additional sleeping capacity.

The kitchen has been updated with a new stainless steel refrigerator, stainless steel dishwasher, natural wood cabinetry and new laminate wood flooring. There is a kitchen island with bar stools for casual dining. There is also a full dining area that seats six people.

The living room is very spacious and comfortable with a rattan couch and love seat. The rattan couch also has a pullout queen sofa bed for additional sleep capacity. There is a two 50' LCD TV with deluxe digital cable service, DVD/VHS player, free Wi-Fi internet service.

There is a full laundry room with a stockable washer and dryer.

Downstairs unit has a private entrance, large master bedroom (king size bed and flat panel TV), living room with convertable couch and large television, full bathroom, laundry room, and a new, modern kitchen.

Misc. Amenities:
-Bathrooms in the house include a hair dryer, towels, soap, and paper products.
-Has about 10 beach chairs and 2 beach umbrellas

Cook out on the gas grill and enjoy the large deck. There is also an outside screened in porch area for relaxing after a long day at the beach.

You must be 25 or over to rent this unit. This is a non-smoking unit. No smoking is allowed.the house has two golf carts for guests to use to transfer beach chairs,umbrellas,towels(included) to private parking on beach.We have gas grill and outdoor shower.Parking for two or four cars.

This unit can accommodate up to 10 people maximum occupancy. This is a pet friendly unit, and a maximum of two pets (dogs only) are allowed for an additional non-refundable pet fee. The owner's property, and the house has to be left in the same original condition.

Oceanside Village is a private, gated community in Surfside Beach, SC. Oceanside Village has many amenities to enjoy. There is an indoor and outdoor pool and for 2013 there is a new kiddie pool and lounge area, a fitness room, lighted tennis courts, volleyball courts, basketball court, baseball field, park/playground area for the kids and many fishing lakes.

Wonderful house and Amenities in Oceanside Village

Great house with plenty of comfortable beds and 2 kitchens and dining areas. Great to have use of 2 battery charged golf carts and all the pools and recreation areas at Oceanside Village. House very close to beach and pier. Super week with our extended family.

Oceanside Village

Beautiful home with lots of space. Great for family and our doggie. We enjoyed having 2 golf carts to ride around the neighborhood and drive to the beach. There’s private golf cart parking at beach access.Oceanside Village is a beautiful quiet community with a lot of amenities. Our dog Hank loved the dog park each day. My 9 month nephew Wells loved the splash park and pool. Our family loved this place and We thank Mrs Dorothy for our 8 day stay.

Great Location

The house has a great location, close to the beach and restaurants. Having access to the two golf carts was a big plus. The house needs some TLC but the stay overall was nice.

Don't waste your time.

So let me start off by saying we love staying at Oceanside village and we have stayed there several times over the past few years. This was by far the worst stay. And let me also say that i know that theae are not luxury houses, so i know that things are going to sometimes be outdated or not in the greatest shape. So many things were wrong, but i dont like to complain because like i said you kind of get what you pay for. The owner was very hard to get in contact with. But she had no problem letting me know that we owed $200 for things that were broken that i told her were broke when we got there. I then let her know that the oven downstairs would not turn on. The fan in the bedroom was broke and all the other fans sounded like they were going to fly off the ceiling. The queen bed squeaked so much you couldnt move and one of the twin mattresses was to big for the bed so it kept sliding off the bed. There were barely and cooking essentials to use and the dishwasher would not close properly. When i told the owner the items she claimed were broken she never responded back. We will always stay in Oceanside village no matter what, but i will never rent from her again!!

Get away near the beach

If you are looking for a luxurious stay, keep looking. If you are looking for a place close to the beach with lots of room in a gated community this place is for you! The property manager was easy to communicate with and deployed maintenance when we experienced problems early in our stay. The golf carts were nice as it’s a bit of a walk to the pool and beach. The property does match the photos but has worn from use since they were taken. Furniture is randomly placed outdoors along with beach items. We did not used the outdoor grill because it was very dirty. It would be helpful to have a floor plan that accurately reflects the small bedroom off the master and off the kitchen. We did not use the bedroom off the master which could be accessed through the master or the screened porch. We were underwhelmed by the basic amenities of the units (up and downstairs). With the exception of bath linens, a general inventory assessment is recommended. We stayed for 10 days and would’ve liked to have extra linens for beds and cleaning supplies stocked, access to vacuum (similar to other reviews we swept a lot as it is challenging to keep up with sand due to location ) The listing states beach towels but only two were found. Glad we did bring our own. Due to location and property manager responsiveness we would stay again if property and inventory were refreshed.

Great Stay

Dorothy was a great host! She answered any questions we had before and during our stay. The home was clean, beds comfy and stocked kitchen with all utensils needed to cook, grill bake etc.We love staying in Oceanside Village. This is one of the best homes we’ve stayed in there. Close to beach and pool and the golf carts made it so easy.

Enjoyed our stay

There were a few hiccups the first couple of days with the lack of a second golf cart. But it was taken care of. There was a nosey neighbor across the street, she accused us of letting our dogs poop in her yard and not getting it up, which wasn’t true. She also kept the curtain moved so she could see what was going on. Overall it was a good stay but I don’t think I would stay there again. I’m not one for drama.

Awesome family beach trip!

The property was just as listed with the use I two golf carts. The downstairs apartment stays super cool! Plenty of chairs for us to use! We didn't need umbrellas or any beach towels but I did see a basket with a few towels in it and two umbrellas. The owner is very nice and willing to fix any issues ASAP. We had a little hiccup with one golf cart but was an easy fix!! This house is also close to the end of the road so traffic is minimal to none! We had a great time!!

Vacation Troubles

The main renter was left off list and couldnt get in gate and had to wait 24hours, 2 golf carts broken (fixed in 24 hours) had to rent one, 1 bed broken, a part of microwave fell off. Other than that, we had a great time.

Another amazing stay

This was our 2nd time here and we had another amazing trip. The house and all of the amenities were perfect for our family and pets. We greatly enjoyed having the golf carts to get everything back and forth to the beach, pool, and dog park. We had more than enough space for the entire to relax comfortably and enjoy time together. Thank you again for another amazing vacation!!!

Spring Break

Dorothy’s property was the best choice for our group. We’ve stayed in Oceanside Village and know the area so this was very convenient and familiar!! The host does need to be sure she changes her description of what’s available (beach towels were not ) and to make sure all golf carts available are operational!! The home was clean, accommodating, and had everything we needed. I will definitely be back to stay if it’s available!! The host was very easy to communicate with also. Thank you Dorothy!

Winter Paradise

My husband and I wanted a place to get away from NE winter for a month or so. We found it at this cute, spacious beach house. Great location to the beach either walking or by the provided golf carts. Pretty much everything you would need is stocked. The grocery store is a short car or cart ride. There is so much to do which made our time fly. Dorothy was always assessable to answer any questions. We can’t wait to go back next year.

Went for granddaughter’s wedding.

Was perfect location for family upstairs and myself,husband and son in wheelchair downstairs. Couldn’t believe how much room there was. Was a tad bit cold in January will have to try once in warmer weather. Thank Ms Wink for the help.

Great getaway

We went away for the holidays to spend time with family. It was the perfect layout for two families. Great location, very close to Myrtle airport, close to beach, close to restaurants, golf carts were a cool bonus. The indoor pool was great for kids during the winter months. The link for address via confirmation email brought us to a different address but looking back we think it could have been user error since we didn’t double check that it’s not Myrtle, but Surfside Beach. It was tricky getting the locks open but it was also dark when we finally arrived. We thoroughly enjoyed the trip and would recommend this location again.

There is an indoor and outdoor pool as well as a brand new kiddie pool and lounge area for the children that just opened recently in Spring 2013. There are tennis courts, volley ball courts, a fitness center, a ball park, playground, fishing lakes and more. There are many great restaurants and attractions nearby for your entertainment.
