Overall great stay!!! The interior of the home is very clean and like new! The kitchen was beautiful. Bathrooms were very nice as well! The direct access to the lake was super convenient and having a dock was helpful getting in and out of the boats. I would recommend this property to anyone looking for a getaway on a quiet lake (with plenty of fish)!!!

Everything was clean and ready to go once we opened the door. A fantastic place to stay in the Adirondacks, wonderful scenery and kayaks to get a better view from the lake. Would love to stay here again, we had a fantastic time!

Great place and location. Few things to note, lake is not for swimming, kayaks were in ok shape, no sitting area by fire pit or chairs available. Having said that, is a perfect, tranquil and beautiful setting to relax. The place is very well maintained and in excellent conditions. Needs a microwave and few other kitchen items. Recommend as a great place to stay and would come back again. The host is excellent and very accommodating.

Host was welcoming and the house was very clean and exactly like you would think from the images, sq footage etc. daughters absolutely loved the cabin. It was a perfect, cozy cabin for a deep winter Christmas in the Adirondacks.
The bear of the Adirondacks with a bit of snow!
Out on the dock with frozen lake.
We brought our own tree to give us a little bit of Christmas vibe.
It is remote, trees could make travel difficult during storms. 4 wheel drive vehicle recommended.

We had an amazing stay! Photos were accurate. Place was clean, beautiful and tranquil! Just what we were looking for. The view was spectacular with the fall colors. We enjoyed some local hikes during the day and when we were relaxing in the evening we could look up and see the sky right from the living room. The host was very responsive. Not that we had to reach out. I did let her know when we arrived as it was mentioned some people had challenges find the place. We used Apple Maps and did not have any issues. I highly recommend this place for anyone looking for a quiet, peaceful get away.

The house itself was beautiful, and the location on the lake was picturesque. There were undoubtedly several aspects that needed improvement before I could recommend this rental to anyone else. First of all, an error in the provided directions to the property caused us to travel about two hours in the wrong direction before we realized the mistake. A few key things were missing that would have improved our stay, including pillowcases on one of the beds, a coffee maker, baking trays, wine opener, and salt/pepper/oil. There were only four of us staying here this weekend, and there wasn't enough seating for us to eat together at a table or relax comfortably in the living room. We did make use of the canoe, which was fun, enjoying an evening on the lake. It seemed we were among the first renters for this property, and hopefully, it will improve in the future.
