Two bedroom bright lower flat (all linens included, full kitchen with all amenities, full bath with washer/dryer, living & dining room. Barbecue and fire pit. Pets welcome. Several sandy beaches within walking distance in magnificent St. Margarets Bay (don’t forget your bathing suits and sunscreen). Magnificent 32 km. hiking/biking/4 wheel trail right at your doorstep and bicycle rental/touring company nearby. Also close to Queensland Beach and beautiful downtown Hubbards. Approx. 40 min to Stanfield International Airport, Peggy's Cove or downtown Halifax.

Just bring your food and clothes and be ready to relax and enjoy the ocean breeze and the soothing sound of the waves hitting the shore! Love to share my little 'peace' of heaven.

We are on a long journey - when we tire of hotels we like to grab a VRBO property for a couple of days or so to catch up on laundry, have home cooked meals and stretch out. This basement suite suited us perfectly! Host was wonderful and met us on arrival.

Good location

Quiet neighborhood, but conveniently located to Halifax. Property was clean and comfortable. You are required to do separation of your trash, between several different categories of composting and recycling, etc. It’s a small sacrifice, considering the rest of the property.

Great Location!!!

Beautiful stay in Black point! Conveniently located to many destinations. Clean apartment with all the amenities you would need. Owner was super accommodating and friendly!! Loved our stay and how close to the ocean it was. Definitely want to go back someday!

Cozy beach house, great location.

Beautiful beach house. Amazing view and great location. Good size for our family of five. Hostess Ethel made the check-in process easy. Laundry services were very much appreciated.

Great place to stay

We really enjoyed our stay in this home. Clean, spacious, comfortable across the street from the water. Great owner to work with. She makes sure your stay has all it needs including bikes for the bike trail right off the back property and kayaks and paddle boards. Wish we had more time to play!! Close drive to Halifax and Peggy’s Cove. Definitely recommend!

The best place ever I had!

These are extremely cozy apartments. The landlady took care of every little detail. Waking up and seeing the ocean from the window is simply incredible! Magical beaches are just nearby. Special thanks to the landlady Ethel. She is an incredibly nice person and can help with any questions. We will definitely recommend this place to everyone acquaintances!

Great place, great host

This place was exactly as describe, and perfectly located for our trip. The place was clean and comfortable. I really appreciated the homey feel. I was able to make meals for the family and even got a couple loads of laundry done. Plenty of windows for a downstairs suite. The beds were comfortable. The host, Ethel was wonderfull. Very prompt on her emails, very helpful once we got there. I would definitely recommend this place.

Beyond Expectations

From the location to the host, amenities to cleanliness my friend and I loved our stay. Ethal was so friendly and accommodating. You could see and hear the water right outside your door. We each slept well and had everything we needed. We were able to reach so many must see spots easily, Peggy's Cove, Lunenburg, Mahone's Bay, Halifax, so many parks and beaches and also did the local lobster supper. The drives were beautiful and views incredible. Hope to return with my family!

Wonderful "Little Piece of Heaven"!

Beautiful bright clean! Wonderful host! Beautiful setting! Of the 4 HomeAways we stayed at this was by far the best! Located very close to Peggy's Cove (30 min) . Host has kayaks avaliable for use. Badminton, bikes, with 35 k trail behind the house and so much more. Everything you need while away, she has! So many beaches near by! I can't say enough wonderful things about the host. She is such a happy bubby person and so approachable. The only negative was having to leave. This truly is a little piece of heaven!

A beachside oasis

We were warmly greeted by the host and this property have everything you need and more. The layout is perfect for a accommodating the entire family. The area has many attractions close by. A great place to enjoy time in Halifax and all along the South Shore.

Nice self contained suite

The suite is clean and well appointed and has everything you need. The host is very friendly, helpful and relaxed. We stayed there during Hurricane Fiona and the host did her best to accommodate us in-spite of a 3 day power outage and some challenges. She will definitely get a generator to be more self sufficient for events such as this. But meanwhile, a friend brought a pot of coffee over which demonstrated the famous Nova Scotian community sense and hospitality. It was a memorable experience.

Epic, down home hospitality

Such a little piece of heaven. Ethel is very welcoming and very knowledgeable about the area. Location is great as a jumping off place convenient to the airport and south shore. Relaxing get away

What a great property and host. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and only wish we could have stayed longer. The home is very comfortable and had every amenity we needed for us and our two dogs. Ethel was so hospitable and we appreciated her warm welcome, suggestions for places to eat and visit in the area and even the use of her bikes. The trail system right behind her home is fantastic and her property itself has a lot to offer. Would highly recommend staying here to anyone. Great location to access so much in the area!
