We did encounter a few issues during our stay, but the host was quick to reply and help make things right. Overall, not a bad stay. Location was in a good spot for us to be close to most activities. However parking was a little difficult, but street parking on the weekends helped.

We really appreciated how accommodating this host was! From quick responses to questions, to helping us extend our stay, they were always available if needed. The house is cozy with lots of areas to spread out if you have a big family. The games and pool initially lured us to the listing but the extent of activities at the house was a great surprise! Stacks of games, movies and fire pit was enough to keep everyone busy and having fun! The only thing to plan for is limited parking and towing on the Main Street. No more than 2 cars can fit in the driveway. We really enjoyed our time together here in the swamp! Thank you for having us!

This worked out well for our group, and we would stay there again. It is not the fanciest of places, feeling just a little bit run down (outdoor chairs were shaky, e.g.), but overall very pretty, We enjoyed playing pool and exploring the wide selection of games. Two of us braved the pool (which was quite chilly in December) and thought it was really nice. We didn't mind that the ice-maker was broken in the fridge but would have appreciated having ice trays available - but we bought ice on our second day and that was okay. One thing that was troublesome was the parking situation, We were not told until the day before that only two cars could be parked there and that street parking on weekdays was not allowed. We had 4 cars from people who had traveled from across the state and North Carolina and that was a pain, Overall, though, worth the price and well-situated in town.

I will start my review with the fact we were charged 20 for "missing coffee mugs" 2 weeks after check out. Which we did not take. Now I will list details regarding the house during our stay-1. We arrived to previous guests trash OVERFLOWING, already placed at the curb. This was on Sunday. Trash pick up was not until Wednesday. Which I had to message and ask when pick up was because we had no where to put our trash. I was told there was yellow bags that could be used for our trash to be placed at curb. There was no yellow bags in the house. Because the trash was sitting out for so long, we had to clean up trash that was gotten into by animals. Again, not our trash!2. 2 exterior doors did not stay latched unless they were deadbolted from the inside. One was the door to the patio bedroom. The other was the door that accessed the pool- Which I was told had a pool alarm for children. That was non functional and completely unwired and looked about 20years old. Incredibly unsafe for a rental house that children visit.3. The air conditioning broke on our last night. I messaged and we left a night early. Never received any response regarding this. 4. The ice maker was broken. I looked back at previous reviews and they also stated that and received a response that it would be looked into. That was over 6 months ago. The fact that after all of those and we are being accused of stealing coffee mugs is absolutely absurd. Management is incompetent. Would not recommend house.
