Our family had a wonderful week in Acadia staying at this lovely home! We enjoyed cooking in the spacious kitchen, eating in the dining area overlooking the water, stunning sunsets, and stargazing! We would definitely return and highly recommend for other families!

The house was spotless and plenty of room inside and out for your extended family. The sunset pictures online do not do it justice. Beautiful! Also if you like to see whitetail deer they are everywhere.

Beautiful house with amazing views and access to Acadia Park. The only downside was the house is infested with spiders. We were constantly being bitten by them in our sleep. They were in the kitchen cabinets and bathrooms. They were everywhere. I would recommend that the owner hires an exterminator to manage the situation. Thank you!

I’m very sorry to hear about your experience. I only wish you had reached out to me during your stay to let me know about the issue, as I would have taken immediate steps to address it. This is particularly surprising and concerning to us, as we have never previously had an issue with spiders in the home. As reflected in our many 5-star reviews, we take great pride in the cleanliness and care of our home, as well as in being highly responsive whenever a guest brings something to our attention. We are taking your comments seriously and will be having the property thoroughly inspected and addressing anything that may have contributed to the issue.

Wonderful stay!

Jennifer was very responsive with any questions we had, property was immaculate. Home is located in a very peaceful part of the island with fabulous views of sunset. Couldn’t have asked for more - would definitely stay here again!

We were seven adults, myself (86 years old) and my daughter and her husband, my son and his wife, my handicapped son, and my son from FL. The downstairs twin bedroom with seating and TV was convenient for my two sons. I had the twin bed upstairs. Surprisingly, I was able to climb the stairs and happy to have a bathroom so close. The two bedroom suites were a welcome surprise. TV watching was convenient and cozy in either of the sitting rooms. Downstairs living was set up for eight people, so family togetherness was just what we all wanted. I can't say enough about the view of the water and wildlife. We watched for deer from inside and also outside on the huge deck and my kids hiked to the cove every day. Access to Acadia National Park every day was the best. I can't say enough about our stay. It was one of the best family vacations we have had.

Excellent location with beautiful sunsets and water views, and nicely accented property. We have spent 35 consecutive years in Bar Harbor, Maine in August and this property is the best to accommodate our family of 6, 4 adults and 2 kids

Such a great location. The house is perfect for our family to stay on the island for the whole week. Quite side of the island, which is exactly what we were looking for. Gorgeous sunsets every night. Totally recommend.

Location was amazing

This is hands down one of the nicest places we've stayed in Bar Harbor. The home has all the amenities you could want and the location provides privacy and serenity. We will be returning!

This house is set on a bluff with incredible views and is surrounded by nature. Truly a magical setting that is very rare. Our family of 4 plus my father-in-law were easily accommodated. The house was immaculate and had all of the items you need for vacation living. My only gripe is that we were NEVER home to see the sunset! I would advise guests to bring beach chairs and beach towels if you decide to visit Sand Beach which is stunning. The water is cold so maybe don't plan on a swim without a wet suit. We made breakfast every morning and then were out all day. The hike to the cove is a must as the walk itself and the destination are truly stunning and peaceful. My only regret is that we had to leave.

We loved this property—private, wooded, clean, and big enough to host six family members.While staying here, we read books on the deck and enjoyed the tree-line view and bay in the distance. Several of the sunsets were beautiful. And we did see several deer on two occasions.

Beautiful House and View

House and view were beautiful! Large enough for people to have their own space and great common areas to be together. Location next to Town Hill restaurants was perfect, and quick drive to Bar Harbor or Acadia. Would recommend and would stay again.

Quintessential Maine Escape

The setting is just spectacular - stunning views and tucked away on a private point yet convenient to get to Acadia and all MDI has to offer. The house feels like home the second you walk in the door; truly a charming slice of life in Maine. Hope to make this an annual trip.
