This is an incredibly serene and beautiful place to stay! We actually wish we could’ve spent more time at the property instead of just seeing all the sights in Boothbay, Bath and Brunswick. It was a lovely stay for us and our two kids. We can’t wait to come back!

I absolutely loved my stay at the tiny house on Merry Meeting Bay!!!! the tiny house itself was amazing, but the location and views we’re out of this world!!!! and then a total bonus that it’s on a working farm and comes with the most adorable little dog named Penny that loves to stop by and say hello! Jim was very kind and brought fresh produce from the farm every morning, and he was happy to let me have my friends over so we could enjoy a fire pit by the ocean and have a little reunion. It was perfect!!!

We feel like we hit the jackpot finding this property. Everything was incredible, from the beautiful property and setting, the thoughtful design in the tiny home, to the hospitality of Jim, the owner of the farm it is situated on. The location is perfect - just outside of bath, but situated on a large parcel of land right on the Kennebec river. I spent a whole day kayaking on the kayaks that are available for use and exploring a local island. Jim was also so kind, and chatted with us about his background and life, which we love when traveling. He purchased some fresh picked produce from his farm and make a great meal at the tiny home using the grill. The tiny home itself felt very surprisingly spacious and well-accommodated. I would highly recommend this property to anyone evaluating - the pictures don't do it justice and you will thank yourself.

I cannot speak highly enough of Jim and his Tiny house. We traveled with me, my husband and 2 kids (7 and 3.5) and it was perfect for us. The kids loved being able to run around, explore the farm, play with Penny the farm dog and they even got to feed the pigs with Jim the morning we left. And no, you cannot smell the pigs, we were surprised when he told us they were on the farm. And when I say quiet, Ai mean this place was the quietest and most relaxing vacation I have ever taken. It was amazing to just sit outside, watch the water and beautiful sunsets and not hear a soul. Just the water hitting the rocks and bird chirping. I cannot speak highly enough of this tiny house and how spacious it was inside for a tiny home. We only wish we booked a longer trip and we're already looking at booking our "holiday house" again. This was the first trip where my kids weren't asking when we were going home and my daughter asked to go back once we got home. I fell in love with the farm and the water all in one place. Thank you for a great experience again Jim.

I’m almost reluctant to review Jim’s tiny house on his organic farm because it’s an absolute gem and selfishly I want to keep it hidden! My husband, son and I had an amazing experience. The tiny house is exactly as pictured or even better in person. Such a great combination of modern convenience in a spectacular rural setting. We arrived during a heatwave in August and were grateful for the air conditioning at night. Jim was very accommodating and generous and made it a point to check with us to make sure everything was beyond satisfactory. He even went out of his way to offer his grandkids’ bike for my son’s use. That and the freshest vegetables you can imagine were some of the highlights. Seeing my son delight in the ability to explore and experience true freedom by biking around the farm was priceless. We had planned to use the kayaks and were disappointed to find them in poison oak plants. Jim made the effort to move them and even went above and beyond by purchasing a couple fun floats for us to use in the river. We enjoyed our conversations with him, getting to know each other a bit, but always in a respectful and unobtrusive way. We’re already talking about returning next summer to relax, roast s’mores, have fun and discover the new improvements that Jim brings to the property. If you’re looking for a place to unplug, unwind and recharge by taking in a daily dose of fresh air and phenomenal natural flora and fauna, then look no further!
