We had an absolutely delightful stay — could not have been better! Clear and consistent communication with our host, the well laid out and comfortable home, the quiet and lovely environment were especially appealing, and we would love to return.

We had a great time in this charming cottage! The cottage is cozy and comfortable, a short drive from downtown Boothbay. The kitchen is well-equipped and we were able to cook many of our meals, which made things easier with kids. The host was quick to respond to our messages. Highly recommend for families looking for a relaxing Maine getaway!

Our stay at this charming cottage was absolutely delightful. The home is comfortable, safe, and conveniently located — just a short walk to Robinson’s Wharf, where the view of the marina made for a perfect spot to unwind and enjoy dinner. It’s also an easy drive to the Coastal Maine Botanical Gardens, which we highly recommend visiting. There are many hiking trails in the area that we love exploring. The cottage is quiet at night, well maintained, and thoughtfully stocked with kitchen amenities that made meals easy and relaxing. Lesa is a great, responsive host and very easy to work with. We’ve stayed here before and were just as happy this time around, and we’re already looking forward to staying again in the future.

Very clean! Well-stocked full kitchen with cooking supplies and appliances, keurig and regular coffee pot. Nicely decorated and cozy. Quiet and private, but near enough to everything. Visited with my husband and myself, and our teenage son and daughter. So much better than a hotel/motel. Would 100% recommend and would love to return!

Plumpoint Cottage was the perfect choice for the vacation plans my husband and I had for the Boothbay Harbor area. From the moment we walked through the door to the final closing of it, our stay the cottage was beyond our expectations. The rooms were generous in size, the furniture, comfortable, the kitchen was well supplied with needed utensils, dinnerware, pots, and pans. The bedrooms welcomed a weary traveler with very comfortable bedding and ample dressers to unpack the suitcase(s) and make the stay feel like being at home. "Comfycozy" would be how we would sum up our stay at the cottage. We found all rooms to be very clean and nicely supplied with quality furnishings. The decor was done with an extreme attention to detail for a nautical/coastal setting. We hope to be able to plan a longer stay at the cottage. There was just so much to see and do in the Boothbay Harbor area and the East coast of Maine that we just didn't have time during our time there. I believe you will find the host, Lesa, to be very responsive for any communication whether it be prior to booking, during a stay, or after departure.

Beautiful location

Exactly as listed. Wonderful little spot out of the hustle and bustle of town, but close to many activities. We enjoyed our stay here and would recommend this to others who are looking for a quiet relaxing getaway.

Cottage love

Perfect Boothbay Cottage

My husband and our toddler son and I had a great stay. There were toys for our son to play with and the cottage was so spacious. The owners were very responsive and helpful. The location was perfect only being minutes from shopping and restaurants. We would stay again if in the area.
