This home sleeps 4 plus and it is located in the San Francisco neighborhood of West Portal. This bright and sunny home is warm and cozy - perfect for both first-time and returning San Francisco visitors.

West Portal is a small neighborhood situated on the western slopes of San Francisco. It offers a mix of shops, a variety of great restaurants, neighborhood bars, Peet’s, Starbucks and a local cinema; all of which lend to an atmosphere of 'retro-style' charm.

The superb location of our home will provide you with convenient access to all areas in San Francisco. We are one block from the West Portal Muni station where you can board the K, L or M trains to reach the waterfront to visit Pier 39, Fisherman’s Wharf, Alcatraz and more! Visit Oracle Park Baseball Stadium, Home of the World Series SF Giants; enjoy shopping at Union Square, or ride our famous Cable Cars!

Accommodations: Main level of this two story home offer’s two bedrooms, one full bathroom, formal living room, dining room and a fully equipped kitchen. Washer and dryer on-site. Both driveway and plentiful neighborhood parking available.

Everything was exactly as described and could not have been better. The host was wonderful, very communicative and responsive. She even contacted us the morning of our stay to tell us the unit was ready and we could check in any time at our convenience .Excellent location and meet all of our needs. Would not hesitate in staying there again.

Home is in a great location! Down the street you can catch the muni to go anywhere you like in the city! There is a long strip of coffee shops, restaurants and local markets. Our favorite was little original Joe’s! Go get food there! It is the BEST! Fresh meals prepared to warm at home, hot slices of pizza and fresh focaccia breads! Deb is the sweetest! We spent a week in her home while visiting my brother. Highly recommend this rental! You will not be disappointed!

Good location. Parking on driveway is extremely useful. We drove,but took rideshare during the day. If it's your first time visiting,don't bother with public transport and driving. This place is a 15 min ride away from all major attractions. There is a wholefoods nearby with ample parking. We didn't cook since there are many food options. This place is charming and cleaning. Lots charming decoration pieces.

What a fantastic place to stay! This charming, beautifully maintained home is in the perfect location, with public transportation and so many great restaurants just a short walk away.We are especially grateful to our incredible host. Communication was lightning-fast, every detail was thoughtfully handled, and their kindness and hospitality truly went above and beyond. They made us feel so welcome from start to finish.Thank you for helping make our San Francisco family trip such a special and unforgettable memory. We had a great stay in this beautiful home. The host was gracious and helpful, and provided everything needed for a comfortable stay. And the location couldn't be better: fabulous restaurants and shops within walking distance, all in a safe, beautiful neighborhood with spectacular views.

Perfectly located for a stay in the city. The neighborhood is lovely and steps away from great restaurants, shopping, and gourmet food stores. The train to downtown, beach, zoo is around the corner so you get the best of both worlds, a safe vibrant neighborhood to give you the feel of living in the city and access to all of the city has to offer. Parking at house is easy if you decide to have a car. Home is warm and inviting, beds are comfortable and kitchen is charming and perfectly appointed. Owner is welcoming, responsive when needed, and a wonderful host. Highly recommend a stay here.

Small comfortable 2 bedroom house. Neighrborhoid felt very safe. Short walk to good food and beverage places. I would stay here again.

no dishwasher. it says so in the listing, but i sure didn't notice it :)there is a Muni station about 200 feet down the street, very convenient for going into downtown.across the street is an elementary school and next door is a day care. not bad for noise, but if you try to take a nap about 2pm the cars picking up kids will keep you from sleeping.shops and restaurants are close by (220 feet down the street). there is a safeway for groceries about 1/2 mile away.

Lovely home close to transit and neighborhood restaurants. It was perfect for my daughter and myself. The muni is easy to use to get to downtown without having to drive. Parking in the driveway was a definite plus, particularly considering the price to park in SF. Kitchen was well equipped. No dishwasher but not a problem for the two of us. Deb went above and beyond to make us welcome and assist with anything we needed. Across the street from an elementary school but that didn't bother us and it was very quiet in the evening and overnight. Would definitely stay again.

Debra is an excellent host. She was appropriately communicative and available for anything we needed. Her home is clean, quiet, beautifully decorated, and comfortable - exactly what we needed. It is in a great part of the city plus right down the street from a muni stop so easy to get anywhere you want to go. I highly recommend Debra's home and would stay here again.

Clean & Comfy!

I appreciated how clean the house was. I also appreciated how easily accessible the house was to transit and West Portal restaurants. The host was very nice and accommodating. We will stay here again.

Wonderful time in San Fran

Debra was great with communication…upfront, checking in during our stay and at the end. Home is in a great neighborhood within walking distance to public transit and a cute stretch of shops and restaurants. We also loved the easy parking. Home was well stocked and comfy beds. Had a great stay!

Great spot

The home is in a great SF neighborhood.

Very walkable neighborhood with restaurants, groceries, parks, wine and even medical services nearby. The transit station will connect you with all parts of San Francisco. Host was very helpful and great to work with.

Comfortable Stay in the Bay

Immaculate property in a GREAT location with parking included! Wonderful host who went out of her way to make sure we had a comfortable stay. I highly recommend this property and hope we have the opportunity to stay again.

Excellent Location

This charming 2-bed house was perfect for our needs and was a very short walk to excellent Muni connections and to all necessities on the main drag of West Portal. Our host was very communicative and responsive. Would certainly consider staying here on a future trip.

Perfection!

This home is so lovely and feels like a home away from home! I couldn't believe how wonderful the neighborhood was, and we enjoyed so many excellent eateries and local shopping. This property was so perfect that I booked it to return for my anniversary! The host was so helpful and kind - I will be visiting this property often.
