Bright, Fun, Beach House - Great Neighborhood Ready For Your Family Vacation

San Luis Pass is renowned for fantastic fishing, boating, shelling and gorgeous beaches. Treasure Island is a quiet, family neighborhood that is close to all Galveston and Surfside has to offer but is not in the middle of the tourist crowds. Casey Shoals features a newly redone wraparound deck with great views of the bay and Gulf. The house just finished a remodel with new windows, beds, furnishings, kitchen supplies, etc. 3 Lot Property partially fenced yard with space to play and park your boat. It is a short walk to a beautiful, long Texas beach! Bring your bikes and the Golf Cart! The neighborhood is perfect to let the kids roam and bike as you watch from the deck. All 4 corners of the newly replaced deck and pergolas give you shade and a good view of the neighborhood and water fronts.

Casey Shoals features a super fun atmosphere with a relaxing beach motif and designer touches! 2 bedroom, 2 bath with king bed, queen bed and 2 bunk beds (sleeps 6) - Large, open living area with dining table that is great for meals, and games. Fully furnished, with a new BIG screen TV with Disney, NetFlix, and ROKU. WIFI, gas grill, games, puzzles, videos, microwave, dishwasher, washer/dryer and well equipped kitchen. Both bedrooms have recently installed independent Zone AC units to help keep the roomscool in the Texas Summers. Large lots give open space for volleyball or baseball and parking. Large covered area and lower deck area that is great for entertaining, cooking out, and watching sunsets.

We fell in love with the area and this house because of the water views, quiet neighborhood, fishing, surfing, and ball games in the big yard - We hope you will also enjoy it.

Another great stay

We have stayed here for several years, and we love it every time! Communication is always great, the house is always clean and today, and we have a wonderful time! The house has most things you will need and is very relaxing and comfortable! It’s our favorite home away from home!

Another Great Stay

The house is very well equipped and maintained. We had everything we needed for our trip. Communication with owners is spot is fantastic. We’ve stayed here several times and it will continue to be our Go-To when heading to Surfside!

Perfectly quiet getaway

My measure for the perfect vacation rental is: could I see myself living there? This home definitely checked that box. The home is very nicely decorated, and well appointed with everything you may need on vacation. Most importantly, it was very clean. The neighborhood is quiet, well-kept, and well away from the crowded beaches in Galveston and Surfside.

Nice and comfortable beach house

Spacious, comfortable and loaded with supplies. Only 3-4 blocks from the beach in a secluded neighborhood. The one issue I found is that the A/C does not run well in the bedrooms, specially the one with the bunk beds. I does get really hot in there, even with all fans at full blast.

Perfect for our family!

This house was great for our first beach getaway this summer. Location was fantastic, and just a short walk/drive to the beach. The grill was clean and a nice option for meals outside of the kitchen. AC worked like a charm, and beds were pretty comfortable. Our kids loved the bunk beds and enjoyed time in their separate spaces after a long day at the beach. The home had everything we needed to make our stay complete. (The water went out while we were there due to local issues with main breaks, but the owner responded within minutes and kept us updated the entire time! They were incredibly kind from the moment we booked and made us feel like we could reach out to them at anytime should anything come up!) We would definitely consider this property again should we plan a trip to the Freeport/San Luis Pass area.

Beach Get-away

My family enjoyed our stay here. It was fully stocked, with everything we needed to enjoy our beach trip. Including beach toys and wagons. There were also lots of chairs. The decor is very beachy and the bathrooms were updated and very spacious. Our favorite amenity was the outside shower downstairs, that was fully plumbed with hot water. My kids never bathed anyplace else and it helped us keep the sand at bay! Lots of dishes, towels, soap, etc. We wanted for nothing. The beach access wasnt too far, but we really enjoyed the public beach access a few miles down the road that allowed vehicles. We could just drive until we had a spot to ourselves and felt like the ocean was ours!

Fun family beach getaway

Clean, comfortable beach house perfect for a small family. The neighborhood was safe, quiet, and far from the hustle and bustle. It was so peaceful. The kitchen was well-apportioned and had everything we needed to cook 3 meals a day. The owners stocked the pantry, cabinets, and fridge with thoughtful little extras, like condiments, spices, coffee, baggies, tin foil, dishwasher soap, laundry detergent, etc. It was helpful because the nearest grocery store is 30+ min away. The two bedrooms were nicely decorated and also had everything you would need for a comfortable stay. The kids loved the bunk room--despite all being in one room, they felt like they had their own little nooks with reading lights and partial privacy. The primary suite bedroom was spacious and the mattress was comfortable. The bathrooms were well-stocked with towels, toilet paper, soaps, lotions, shampoo, and conditioner. It was so nice and made the stay beyond comfortable. Outside there was plenty of seating, but they are not joking when they say bring bug spray. Bring ALL the bug spray! The mosquitos were vicious in the early evening. The walk to the beach was about ten minutes with the loaded down wagon (about 1/2 mile). Even over the holiday weekend, the beach didn't feel crowded or hectic. We spent hours walking along the shore, collecting shells. Communication with the owners was excellent, and they were super nice. We highly recommend this place for any family looking for a quiet beach retreat!

Great family house!

Treasure Island is one of our favorite places. Family friendly neighborhood, easy beach access-no cars to watch out for as the kids dig away in the sand, and the bay is great for fishing. We loved our stay at Casey Shoals. The house was spotless, well stocked, and spacious. The beach was a short walk away. Don't forget your mosquito spray! John and Patti were wonderful hosts and we hope we can stay here again.

Summer Vacation

Had a great time at Casey Shoals. Property was well kept and owners were very responsive. Really enjoyed the extra touches including family board games and beach toys for the kiddos.

Seamless Beach Getaway

Get away from the concrete jungle

The house was very clean, well stocked with everything you need and the hosts were in communication about everything. It was still very hot but early morning and evening walks on the beach were enjoyable and relaxing.

Our favorite beach house!

This was our fifth year staying here, and we love it more every year! John and Patti are excellent about communication and very easy to reach if I need something or have questions. The house is always clean with relaxing decor. I had two teen girls (my daughter and her friend) and a pre teen boy (my son) with me, and none of us were ever bored. We always use the convenient beach wagon and boards provided. When we weren’t at the beach, the kids loved playing the games provided. Mosquitoes weren’t bad this year during our trip, so we enjoyed sitting on the deck in the evenings. The kitchen has all the basic things you will need, and several stores deliver groceries straight to the door if needed. The new a/c units in the bedrooms are great! They keep the bedrooms as cold as we wanted! We are already planning on coming back next year!

Perfect Family Beach Home!

Great home with all the extras! Perfect for our family of five! Beach near by was excellent with minimal people and an easy short walk. Wagon, chairs, and kids toys were a bonus. Owners were great at communicating and home was well stocked. Would stay again!

Always a great place to stay!

This is our 3rd year staying at Casey Shoals and it never fails to be a great experience. John has added some additional a/c units in the bedrooms that help to tackle the Texas summer heat. We just love staying here and the owners are wonderful to work with. We will be back next year!

Perfect getaway

We had a completely different trip booked and planned only to have it cancelled last minute. We were scrambling for a place and this home and these hosts REALLY came through! The hosts were prompt and thorough with their communication, and the property had everything we could have wanted. There was plenty of stuff for the beach - toys, umbrellas, chairs, 2 life jackets, carts to haul it all to the beach… the haul wasn’t long but those carts sure did help! It was probably a 5 minute walk (walking slow with a 4 year old). We loved that this area was away from the crowds and the beach was not busy at all. Inside everything was well stocked too. Didn’t run out of any of the essentials during our stay (paper towels, toilet paper, trash bags), plenty of cups, plates and flatware, and they even had some bottled water for us! Beds were incredibly comfortable and the home was just perfect for us! We couldn’t have asked for a better home away from home.

A perfectly supplied and decorated beach house

We had the best Father's Day weekend in Casey Shoals. The house is fully equipped with beach gear, kitchen and laundry necessities, COMFORTABLE beds, stays nice and cool, and has stellar views for sunset and sunrise. I enjoyed cleaning dishes to the sunset each evening. What a fantastic feature that I did not even know I wanted(needed). Stay here or you are missing out.
