The property was centrally located, and was stocked with everything you need for home away from home. The beds were comfortable, the layout was fantastic. We will definitely be coming back again and highly recommend it for any travelers.

We had a wonderful stay. The cabin was clean and had many extras! Our family enjoyed time together at the fire pit and playing ping pong. We were impressed with the baby supplies. (High chair, bath tub, baby gates) The bubble wands were a big hit with our toddler granddaughter. Jared was quick to respond with any questions we had. We would definitely recommend this property and hope to visit again!

Beautiful, cozy house with everything you need! Very kid friendly- lots of games available and my kids loved ping pong in the garage. The fenced in yard was so nice for our dogs so they could be outside with us while we enjoyed the fire pit. Location was great; we went to downtown Boone both days for meals and that was less than 10 minutes away. Hawksnest was just a 15 minute drive. Would definitely recommend this mountain cabin!

The cabin was lovely and very well equipped with kitchen items, cleaning items, etc. It also provided games and activities for children: bubbles, ping pong, board games, and more. The owner was very responsive and prompt with his email replies. There is a large deck with a grill. We wished it had a better view of the mountains; unfortunate that it did not. This was the only thing missing from this cabin. Expect neighbor noise and lots of construction noise as this area is being built up, but none of that is the fault of the owner. The cabin itself is welcoming and great for a family to come home to after a long day of hiking.

The cabin was perfect for our family vacation. The hosts were very responsive. The cabin itself was well decorated and had everything we could want. We've stayed at homes before that looked nice online but were run down in person. This was not the case here. You can tell the owners take pride in their home.

We rent 2-3 vacation homes a year and this was one of our favorite rentals in the Boone/Blowing Rock area. It is also only 20 min to the Appalachian Ski area. The home is a beautifully decorated comfortable modern log cabin with ample space for our family of 5 and our dogs. The cabin is perfectly located in a wooded area on a quiet side road so it feels private but very close to the main historic downtown areas of both towns (15 min or so). The fenced year was perfect for our dogs to get some outdoor time. The host was fantastic to communicate with and I really appreciated his prompt replies when we were getting ready to book as well as wrapping up our stay. Everything was fantastic and we will 100% stay here when we return next year!

This property was absolutely perfect. The owners have thought of everything. The unit was cleaned to perfection. The home is well appointed from decor to plenty of storage and zero clutter! Simple entry/exit process. We felt very secure and so thankful this was a pet-friendly home with a lovely fenced yard and awesome landscaping. Our host, Jared was precious and very helpful. I wish everyone who uses VRBO could experience an actual TRUE 10 rated property like this one in Vilas! Jared & his team have truly set the bar high. Exactly how it should be!!! We hope to be back soon and bring the grandkids! Thank You J&K & Didi Simone
