Nice stay

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Alpine does a great job. This condo isn't fancy but it did the job for what we wanted. We loved the location, it was clean, bed and towels were good. We ate in quite a bit and the kitchen was stocked well enough to cook. We'd rent there again.

Great condo in Sun Valley

The property is in a great location, close to the Sun Valley Lodge amenities and the town of Ketchum. It was perfect for our family of three, with a well-equipped kitchen and all the essentials we needed for a comfortable and enjoyable stay.

Great location for all seasons! We stayed in the fall and loved the babbling creek outside and the beautiful colors. The bed is quite comfortable, and the kitchen well-stocked. There is easy access to the Sun Valley Lodge and amenities, and it's a quick drive into town for restaurants and the grocery store. It's well suited for a family of 4, but wouldn't want to share the en suite bathroom with friends. It was perfect for the two of us.

Cozy condo, suite

I was there for a conference. This location was perfect for me to be able to get between the lodge and the inn. Lots of options for food in the local area. Excellent little balcony in order to view river below and listen to the sounds of rain and watch the sunrise with coffee.

Very lovely condo next to creek

We enjoyed this condo very much. The only suggestion I would make is put in a regular dining room table and chairs as the bar stools and table are not comfortable.

Area seemed old and somewhat abused. Condo was nice but again, a little beat. I spent a lot of time going back and forth to the rental office which meant I couldn't do a fair amount of things I wanted to do.

Lovely weekend in Sun Valley

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We rented this condo for a quick weekend in Sun Valley. It was a perfect location, right across from Sun Valley Lodge. The condo was comfortable and clean. The murphy bed is such a great option vs a fold-out couch. Please note that the bathroom is only accessible through the bedroom, which can be awkward for more than 2 people. We didn't mind, though. Would definitely stay there again.

Very very clean and well stocked, we needed nothing. Only thing is that the checkin and checkout is a little bit out of the way and complicated. A lock box would be easier then going off property, 7 minutes away to pickup and drop off keys. Besides that, super easy checkin and checkout instructions and I have nothing else negative to note! Loved this place and would stay here again, and I recommend anyone who is on the edge to just book it!

Clean space but creepy neighbors

Short version-condo is very dated but clean. The “condo” directly across the hall had a combination lock on the door (not a realtor style). Out comes two strange and rather creepy guys. Hard to fully describe but my girlfriend and I didn’t feel safe after the short exchange. We chose to not stay there and we let Alpine know.

Sorry for your strange encounter as we are not in control of that sort of thing in these neighborhoods. If those condos are not in our rental pool we don't know who is staying in them. We did refund your housekeeping fee.

1st time to stay at Cottonwood

Lovely, older unit. Lots of windows/light. Well equipped kitchen, great fireplace & plenty of firewood on the deck. Good bed, overall we were pleased - a real discovery. Have always stayed at the Lodge or Inn, this is much better. A bit of a walk to the pool but glad it was available to us. Kitchen could use some attention & maintenance - microwave turntable doesn't turn; latches on kitchen doors loose; one burner was not operable, light bulb in main room needs replacement; wifi had to be re-set by rental agents; kitchen faucet doesn't shut off properly. All little things, but things that should be taken care of by property managers. The unit is charming and would highly recommend.

Could have been better

If this condo wasn't in Sun Valley, we would have rated lower. The area is awesome, but this property seems outdated. The fan in the bathroom was super loud and rattled. The bed sheets were itchy and not comfortable. The pillows were old and small for a king bed. On the plus side, the 2nd floor balcony had gorgeous views of the fall colors in the trees and the creek outisde was beautiful. This was a last minute trip and our two night stay was so-so. We had a great hiking and hanging out in Sun Valley and Ketchum, but next time we will stay somewhere else.

Comfortable Condo

I usually don't like carpet but it feels clean and comfortable in this unit. Location: quiet, with a good mountain view when you wake up. It's only a few minute of drive to the River Run Plaza to ski in Sun Valley. Very convenient location. Layout: the morning sun is bright in the living room. Love it. The kitchen is closed off from the living room (deli layout). I initially thought I would not like it but I found myself enjoy this layout very much as I can leave all the mess in the kitchen while eating in the living room. Kitchen: we like to cook our own meals. This kitchen is stocked with all the tools I need to make good meals. Management: we didn't experience any issues with check-in or check-out. It was a very smooth process.

Kitchen table/chairs were nicer and more comfortable than in photo. Easy location to walk to ice rink and SV village. We loved our time and will stay again. Only wish they had provided hand soap (only 1 small bar of bath soap which only lasted a day). There was plenty of dish, dishwasher and laundry soap. Management company was easy to work with and quick to respond.
