Dory Cove Oceanfront in Roads End - Spectacular Views, Rain or Shine! - Hot Tub
Dory Cove suite (800 sq ft) has 2 bedrooms and 1-1/2 baths (shower) and sleeps 7 (5 in three beds, 2 on sofa sleeper). Enjoy ocean view from the master bedroom which has a queen bed and half bath. Large second bedroom has full size bed and one twin. Open living space design with panoramic windows in kitchen and family room provides seamless view of ocean. Hot tub (for this suite only).
This property is located next to the Roads End State Park, with a generous planted buffer offering separation from public access, the parking area, etc. DIRECT BEACH ACCESS is available via the next-door public beach "dune" path at the park, or use our private stairs from the yard! Enjoy watching the surfers, kite boarders, kite flying and sand castle building. With some luck you may spot a sea lion or whale!
Laundry room is in detached garage. Detergent provided.
This is one suite of a duplex, so for larger groups, consider renting both suites at reduced rate using VRBO listing 574624.
If this suite becomes booked for your dates try the other side, SurfSounds VRBO listing 581555.
WiFi internet and TV.

This location is superb, right next to a state park and close enough to walk to tide pools at a very beautiful area of the beach. We absolutely loved hearing the ocean at night, and being able to see the views of it from inside the house. We explored many spots on the Oregon Coast, and this was probably our favorite.

My mom and I and my 2 daughters stayed very comfortably for 3 nights and we had the best time! Perfect location to the beach and many restaurants and activities! Would definitely stay here again!

Yes! Lincoln City does have a lot to offer, including good restaurants within a mile of our place. And Mexican and Thai within 1.5 mile!

Great Anniversary Trip!
Very pleased with the entire package and our time in Lincoln City. House is well appointed and quite comfortable with a great "right on the beach" experience. Recommended place to stay!

Great Anniversary Getaway!
Our return visit was just what was needed to get away from the winter weather holding on in our own part of the world. We always enjoy the beaches and restaurants along with Robert's Books! The rental is just the right size and, with a hot tub to enjoy, just fits our needs.

My husband Dave and I had originally purchased a house in the Taft area of Lincoln City. Although it was very close to beach access, it did not have an ocean view. After owning that house for seven years, we decided to sell it with the goal of having a house providing an ocean view.

It took us almost a year to find this property. Our criteria seemed simple, but all the houses within our reach did not meet the two main requirements: Good ocean view and close beach access. After viewing over 50 homes, this property by far had the best ocean view. Doesn't get much better than ocean front with floor to ceiling windows! To top it off, we ended up with direct access to the beach. The deck offers good visibility for when the kids want to go down to the sand. Younger kids best play in the stream that flows into the ocean, build sand forts/castles, or join up with other kids on the beach.
Originally the concept of having two units was not on our radar. As for any concern with adjoined units, we have found that by insulating the walls between the units, the noise transmission is minimal to undetectable. Since our first rental (eight-plus years) we have had no noise issues.
