We loved this vacation home! Our family had an amazing time. The house was super cozy, the pool was amazing for hanging out, and the decoration made everything feel stylish and comfortable.

The property is stunning! The house is beautifully decorated with everything you could need, even a juicer to enjoy all the citrus fruit from the large orchard. The beds were really comfy. The pool is amazing with a long water slide and gorgeous views. Poolside is a great place to relax or set up to work and enjoy the sunshine and breeze. Taking an evening stroll past the fruit trees around to the top along the pooand down by the massive fountain adorning the circular drive provides stunning sunset views. It’s clear the owners take wonderful care of this spectacular place. Booking and check-in was easy and clear. Just an all-around great experience. I’m looking forward to my next stay.

Anniversary trip

House was amazing! Way more than needed for just the two of us but amazing privacy at the pool area and this unique house has it all!

You'll never want to leave!

This house is lovely and completely zen. The fresh air and sun lit pool were perfect for our family. The pool was amazing, the view from the pool breathtaking. The kids loved the game room, spent most of their time there or the pool. The living room was cozy and both kitchens were stocked, had everything you would need. Each room had their own bed and bath, each comfortable and with good space. The communication from the property management is so appreciated. Thank you for being so welcoming. We absolutely loved this place and hope to get back real soon!

Beautiful home, wonderful stay!

The house was spectacular! Perfect for vacationing with another family. We all had our own space and congregated in the communal spaces. The two kitchens were amazing- we ate some meals by the pool and some on the veranda. It was like being in Mexico!! Fruit trees were so cool- the apples were sweet, ruby red grapefruits and fresh squeezed OJ for breakfast. Two suggestions for making this the best place ever— the pool could be warmer (it’s solar heated). The weather was low 70s, so wish the pool was a bit warmer. But we still had a blast going down the slide! A broom! We traveled with littles who sometimes miss their mouth when trying to eat. We searched everywhere but could not find a broom or vacuum- so spent a lot of time on our hands and knees picking up scraps. Otherwise, perfect stay and would definitely stay here again!!

Paradise on a hill

This was an amazing experience! We enjoyed every moment. Swimming, sliding, picking fruit and juicing, the pool table, gazing out at the gorgeous views. We loved it!! Something to note for people traveling with children. All of the bedrooms are accessed outside. There is a main living area with kitchen, dining room and living room. Covered walkways lead to the bedroom/bathroom combos, but they are not accessible from the main house. This was fine for us because our children enjoyed the set up but it would not have worked when they were younger. There is one bedroom that has a guest bed attached so parents could stay with smaller children in there. The pool area is paradise, i could stay there for days never wanting a thing. Both kitchens are fully stocked. One tip would be having more beach towels. There were 6 for us which was enough but a larger party would want more. Small critique.

Girls trip

We were so excited to rent this property because of the pool, waterfall, and slide for our ladies trip to relax and have an amazing view and fun time with the pool. It was fabulous for the first two days but then the waterfall, slide and all together the pool pump stopped working. I tried contacting management and it was handled very poorly and it did not get fixed. We were mostly upset that no one even came to look at the pool over the 24 hours I had been reaching out. We specifically rented this property for the soul reason of the pool but we were disappointed the third and fourth day it wasn’t working. They offered $20 at first to reimburse us then agreed on $100. With spending $3400 we just didn’t feel that was a justifiable reimbursement since people most likely would rent this property for its pool and amenities. Another part that was not mentioned is the chickens/ roosters that apparently are on the land tight by the house. They woke us up every morning at 4:30 which was not pleasant. Overall it was a nice spot, but wouldn’t go back.

Is our understanding that the electrical panel was overloaded during your stay which caused that the waterfall and slide stopped working. This has been resolved and these amenities are in good working order. We also apologize for the nearby noise from the roosters that prevented you from having a good sleep. The homeowners have worked with the county and this issue has been rectified. Additionally, white noise machines have been installed in each bedroom to help light sleepers have a comfortable night of rest. We apologize for any missteps, as it is never our intention to disappoint. We hope to have the opportunity to better impress you in the future!

Completely mismanaged by VACASA!

List of issues: Vacasa customer service was contacted immediately when we arrived & the following morning. No local staff reached out to us until the 4th day of our 6 day vacation. ***Refrigerator & freezer in kitchen doesn’t work. Vacasa local Mgr admitted they knew about the fridge and decided to wait until we left to replace it. Never letting us know or giving us the option. Complete irresponsible!!! **A/C in master bedroom leaked water & didn’t cool. 80+ degrees in our room entire stay. ***chicken farm directly below master bedroom, roosters will wake you up at 4-5am every morning. * landscape crew shows up at 6am on Tuesday, spraying windows w/ water and mowing & edging right out side each bedroom. * layout not suitable fir smaller children (under 12 yrs of age). Plan on them sleeping with you. 3rd bedroom inns in basement garage and kids will have to exit into driveway or thru garage and up a dark flight of basement stairs if they need to get to parents. *Clogged drain & no running hot water (left knob downer work) in south bedroom bathroom. Shower head is also very corroded & gross ***other than the sheets, the house was filthy dusty. Con webs everywhere. Looks like nobody has dusted. Only changed sheets s a and left. * faucet handle on kitchen sink is falling off * door handle to south living Room entrance fell off when we first entered. Many others very loose. *A/C in north bedroom doesn’t get cold. Can come on but won’t cool room like other A/C’s. * 4th jet on hot tub doesn’t work. Hot tub water was below jet level & filthy when we arrived. I had to clean hair, debris & layers of dirt then as water. We still wouldn’t use it until pool guy came to test chlorine & clean more thoroughly. * We also had to clean all the debris and left toys out of pool. It was finally cleaned on Wednesday but was still filthy upon our arrival. * pool umbrella in the shallow area is noon functional and doesn’t go up and down. Looks like the cord broke and someone tied it back together somehow. Also the end of the umbrella are worn thru and busted out. * on a lesser note…some lights are out on walkway up to the pool & many bushes need to be trimmed back so palm trees aren’t slapping you in face on n main walkways and so you can walk up the stairs to the slide.

This home was far more than a vacation rental for our family—it was a return to a place filled with memories. My mother grew up here, and being able to celebrate her here was an experience we’ll never forget.What makes this property so special is how beautifully it balances preservation and modernization. The home has retained its original charm and nostalgia while being thoughtfully updated and exceptionally maintained. You can feel the pride of ownership in every detail, from the house itself to the immaculate grounds.The pool deserves special mention. It is, without question, one of the most beautiful private pools we’ve ever enjoyed. Everything was perfectly maintained and inviting. Our seven-year-old son spent every possible moment swimming and is still talking about it.The home was comfortable in every way. The air conditioning worked flawlessly, the property was well-equipped, and everything was exactly as advertised. The location was also ideal—close enough to enjoy the Oceanside Farmers Market and convenient for day trips, yet peaceful enough to feel like a retreat.For my mother, who lived here from the 1940s into the early 1980s, seeing what the property has become was incredibly meaningful. In many ways, it felt like the realization of the vision her father had when he purchased the home.This house allowed our family to reconnect with our history while creating new memories together. We left already talking about coming back.
