Everything was extremely clean, the bed super comfy, sheets soft and new. It’s a beautiful, quiet setting inside and out, AND as others have said, it was perfectly stocked with anything we might have needed!!

A nice tucked-away property with a lot of privacy and comfort. Try not to arrive after dark however, as finding your way through the twists, turns and elevation changes of the Oakland Hills can be challenging. But once you find the cottage, it's great.

Fabulous stay! Came up for work and some sightseeing and the guest house was very clean, comfy and quiet. So many amenities and a gorgeous view of the bay. Next time I’m in the Bay Area I will absolutely be back here for my stay.

This cottage was perfect for my needs. I was looking for a place in the Oakland Hills, quiet, in a safe neighborhood, as a woman traveling alone. It was peaceful, lovely surroundings and a view and, as a writer, I appreciated the office space. I would highly recommend this rental.

We loved this studio rental. It had absolutely everything we needed. The whole space was super clean! The grounds are beautiful and we enjoyed sitting on the deck as the late sun warmed us after days touring the area. Very comfortable bed! We will definitely plan to stay here next time we come to Oakland. Just down the road there were restaurants, shops and a grocery. This is a great location for us!

This place is great! A beautiful setting and very comfortable. It was the clean and well stocked with everything we might need which we really appreciated. The hosts were very attentive. If we go to this area again we will want to stay there!

This was one of the most peaceful, beautiful little places we’ve stated at in the Bay Area. It was immaculate, stocked with everything you could possibly need, and so comfortable. The owner gave very clear instructions well in advance, and there were detailed instructions on how to operate everything in the house. The outdoor area, although we didn’t have time to enjoy it, looked delightful. Next time…

Very pretty garden adjacent to the space with night lighting. The neighborhood was very quiet at night. The unit had everything you might need from brochures for local tourist attractions to a wide variety of snacks.

Everything was great! Catherine was available before and during our stay and responded to our questions promptly. The guest house was very clean, comfortable, and well stocked with everything we needed and more (fun snacks, drinks, extra towels, etc.). Directions and instructions were clear and thorough.

Quiet & convenient getaway

Our stay was comfortable and peaceful. So close to all the places we wanted to go without being in the hubbub. Easy access to hiking, restaurants, public transit. Beautiful garden surrounding the cottage.
