Place was lovely perfect for a beach getaway will absolutely stay here again, loved all the features of the property offerred and because of this property it helped us have an amazing relaxing getaway!

The location is amazing! Less than a block to the beach and great restaurants and shops just a short walk. Single Fin Bar and Grill is a must . The host was very responsive and graciously remedied a few concerns within hours, including sending someone to fix the BBQ grill and having a box fan and a slider door security bar delivered.If you're looking for a great beach experience in Mission Beach, this is an excellent pick!As noted in the description, the parking spot is very tight. I rented a Mazda 3 and it was a bit of a challenge getting the door open wide enough to get in and out once I cautiously backed into the assigned space. Fortunately, the free street parking was fairly easy to navigate and I was able to park on the street right beside the suite the majority of the time.reminded a frw

The parking is way smaller than described. I would say a scooter would fit great. The night of my arrival the host told me to park on the street, but neglected to mention that there was street sweeping restrictions that I did not see walking against the signs late at night in the dark after a long day traveling. The street parking was next to impossible depending on the time of day. The description says there is a bedroom, there definitely was not a bedroom, rather one small room with a bathroom. The mini fridge did not have a separate freezer so was unusable. The description offered beach chairs that were not available. By the time they were dropped off it was too late to use them. The lock was difficult to use. I will say the location was easy to get to the beach or the bay and made up for the other issues.

Location was amazing. Amazingly clean, great price. Think of a hotel room right by the beach. The owner answered all of our questions immediately. When the description says parking is tight believe them, but parking was everywhere.

Pictures are not recent. Tiles are falling off the roof. When it says no AC, we thought there would at least be screens on the windows. There were not, so we had to leave the windows open to the street with people walking by. The dedicated parking spot can fit a golf cart. We had to drive around for an hour any time we had to find parking. The patio was crumbling apart. There were ants that were never treated. The WiFi had 0-1 bars. The hot water ran out quickly. This place is suited for 1-2 people who only want to be at the beach and just crash in the room. We wound up having to get a hotel across the street for safety and so wasted 1500 on this room that was not as advertised… on top of the 1500 hotel with hot water, a pool, ac/safety and more. Extremely expensive accommodations having to pay for two places so we couple feel safe and not spend hours searching for parking.

The property ultimately fell short of expectations, particularly given the price and how it was advertised. After booking, a lengthy list of house rules was communicated. While my partner and I had no intention of violating any of these rules and fully respect a host's right to establish expectations, the manner and volume of the communications felt somewhat excessive and detracted from the overall guest experience.Although I appreciate proactive communication from a host, there were several issues during our stay that were not adequately addressed. I paid seemingly more in comparison to other properties for parking, yet the designated parking space was too small to accommodate my vehicle, making the higher price difficult to justify. Additionally, the key lockbox malfunctioned, and the bathroom light was inoperable throughout our stay, both of which created unnecessary inconvenience.For the amount we paid and the expectations set by the listing, I anticipated a higher level of quality, functionality, and overall guest experience. While the property may work for some travelers, I believe there are areas that require improvement to better align with the price point and advertised accommodations.
