The studio we stayed in advertised an ocean view. Unfortunately the place in front has been under construction for a while. At this point it's barely gutted so the view of the work van and porta potty was not worth the additional monies we paid for a view.We had requested a second set of towels for bathing and they smelled of mildew.The kitchen drains had gnats flying up through it.

I stayed here as a solo traveler and had a great experience. The property was exactly as described, which made everything easy and stress-free. The location is fantastic, just one block from the beach, so it was really convenient to get there multiple times a day.Having a dedicated parking spot included at no additional charge was a big plus and made logistics much simpler.You can hear some noise from the unit upstairs at times, but it was not disruptive and never affected my sleep.Overall, this is a great spot in a great location, and I would definitely stay here again.

Great location, clean and had everything we needed for our weekend stay. We will be back to rent this place again or another one in the same building, I am sure they are all in great condition.

Unbelievable property! Only half a block off the beach! Very clean, very comfy, super hosts! I'll only book with this host for future trips to San Diego!

Perfect little spot

With just the two of us it was a perfect little spot with easy parking and access to the beach. Clean, tons of kitchen amenities, and good circulation at night.

It was perfect for the 2 of us. We enjoyed the staying just a few steps from the beach and the general beach community vibe of the mission beach area. Having a parking spot at the rental was awesome.

Being able to hear the ocean with the windows open was great! The space was small but had all the amenities we needed to be comfortable! Everything was neat and clean and as the listing describes. Being able to walk to the beach in less than 2 minutes was the real gem of the whole stay.

Only 2 washcloths provided total for 2 adults staying four nights is not acceptable. Major construction ongoing on the adjacent property across the alley street created quite a bit of disturbance.

We enjoyed our stay! The location is fantastic, just a very short walk to the beach, and having onsite parking was a huge plus. The kitchen was also very well stocked with dishes and utensils.A few small additions would make the space even more comfortable for longer stays. Clothing storage was pretty limited. There is a closet, but much of the space is taken up by beach chairs, an umbrella, boogie boards and a vacuum, and there were only a handful of hangers. There is no dresser or luggage rack, so we mostly had to keep our clothes in our suitcases on the floor. Even a small dresser or luggage rack would be really helpful.A few more hooks throughout the condo, particularly in the bathroom, would also be great for hanging wet swimsuits and towels. The bathroom window gets very bright direct sun in the morning, which made it difficult to use the mirror while getting ready, so a simple bathroom shade would be a nice addition.Overall, these were relatively minor things and we enjoyed the convenience of the location and being so close to the beach.

We originally booked this condo but on arrival found it to be in the middle of a construction zone and the view was of an unfinished building covered in black plastic. We immediately contacted Surf Style to find us another listing. Fortunately there was another available (Redondo Crt) but we had to cut our vacation short by one day. The second condo was very clean and comfortable but created an enormous headache getting in and out with the lock boxes, the codes and the keys. Once in, the TV didn't work nor did we get internet. On the positive side, the property managers were very helpful and responsive, but we still never had internet our entire stay!

We stayed here over Labor Day weekend. The unit is small but has absolutely everything we needed. It was clean and comfortable. The location relative to the boardwalk and beach couldn't be beat!! It was also a bonus to have a parking space. The batteries in the keypad on the door needed to be replaced during our stay. They were easy to get a hold of and had them replaced within a few hours. They had also reached out after we arrived to check if everything was ok. I would absolutely stay here again.

Cute but had issues

When we got there, the bathroom sink had hair inside of it. Kind of gross. The A/C was a battle. It would sound like it was gurgling and very loud every few hours. It worked but the noise was crazy. The property manager told me how to reset so tried and offered help Monday when we were leaving. Also there was no hot water to kitchenette sink. Not great when washing drinking cups.
