The house was just beautiful. The only suggestions I have, is to have a few more skillets for cooking and baking sheets for the oven. But everything else was very well supplied. And lastly, you might consider replacing the cushions on the couches with firmer cushions. I am older and I had trouble getting up by myself. But that could be just me. Everything was just wonderful and we had such a good time. Your home has a beautiful view of the lake and was so relaxing. Thank you so much for being so accommodating on our check out time. I would highly recommend your home to anyone who is looking for a vacation home.

This was the perfect place for our marriage retreat. Everything is just as listed and Melissa was excellent to work with. She was immediately responsive to any an all inquiries. We will definitely be staying here again :)

Great Little Getaway

Perfect place to stay with family. Tucked away in the trees, you feel peacefully secluded. The house offered more than enough for us and we will be back!

March Madness

We had a wonderful time staying here. Melissa the agent was very helpful whenever we needed her. Great views and a great place to watch sports. Large tvs and large sitting areas with comfortable seats. This is my second time staying here.

Fabulous home. Loved all the different spaces and the outdoor views and deck. Only suggestion is to bring a griddle or some large pans if you want to make pancakes or such for the size crew that may stay here. I could not find a lot of cooking pans to cook for a dozen people quickly.But lovely stay none the less.

Perfect Stay

Our family of 11 take an annual summer trip to Big Canoe. This was by far the cleanest, most spacious, beautifully decorated home we’ve stayed in. All descriptions were 100% accurate. Check-in and check-out were seamless. Thank you for letting us stay in your beautiful home!

The property was as-described in the listing. Very spacious, with a layout that served my family's needs. Furnishings were clean and comfortable. The beds were comfortable. The kitchen was well stocked. Management was responsive to a request we made midway through our stay. Overall, this is a very nice vacation rental that we would definitely consider for future bookings.

Nice house and community

We really enjoyed the house and Big Canoe. Maintenance on the house could be better! But the property manger was very responsive when there was an issue. Great house for a family.

Beautiful Large Home

The property was large and spacious. I usually do not stay in properties that allow pets because the cleanliness lacks but in this case we were traveling with our dogs and the house was pretty clean. Only downfall is that the bedrooms with the exception of the master did not have televisions. Overall great stay and beautiful views.

The home is very spacious and comfortable. The kitchen has a good amount of dishes, pots, and pans. The beds are comfortable. And it’s very nice that each bedroom has a private bathroom. The driveway has intimidating steepness in the beginning. I think you should get out in front of that and say SUVs recommended. Of course we know mountains are hilly, but this driveway is very steep in the front. Also, it’s advertised as a three car garage, a great feature, and then they tell you you can’t park in the garage because the owner is storing things in the garage. And then we get here and the garage is completely empty. But we didn’t use it because we said we wouldn’t. I think there were some miscommunications from the management company regarding this location in big Canoe. The way they described the neighborhood parking and the limit of two cars per parking pad really seems like they were thinking of a different neighborhood in big canoe. It’s a very comfortable house. I recommend an SUV. It would be more perfect if it had a lovely screened in porch. The screened in porches are off the terrace level and not great. But it’s very spacious and comfortable and priced well, and close to the amenities.

Wedding weekend

Size and layout of home was excellent. Some lights did not work. No cable TV. It was clean but not exceptionally clean. Front porch, back decks and garage were covered in leafs and tree debris. The hot tub was not usable. It was not covered, the water was green and had a lot of tree debris in it. The driveway was extremely steep.

Hi Thomas, I am sorry about the debris and open hot tub. We had a terrible storm prior to your arrival that caused the issues. I should have checked it right before your arrival to confirm there was not any damage / debris from the storm. I apologize for the issues caused.

Property was perfect for our large family attending a wedding at Tate House. Very clean, beautiful views and plenty of space for 9 adults.
