Great cabin, outdoor fireplace and fire pit were a plus! Host was superb! Super close walking distance to a lot Banner Elk has to offer!

Mountain cabin was excellent. It was large, both inside and outside back yard for our dogs.The rooms were spacious and well outfitted. We noted numerous bath and kitchen items that you would appreciate should you forget anything. Laundry room, pool table, hot tub, screened room off master with large sofa swing was fun.Walking distance to shops was great. Very pet friendly lot with large fenced area was nice.

So close and convenient to town, walking distance to lots of things. Perfect for college graduation weekend, we were able to just walk over to the ceremony. Several amenities we didn't have time to enjoy and would definitely go back again.

The host was excellent to communicate with. All went well. Only the Hot tub wasn’t working for us which was a main reason we wanted to stay here. yet everything else was outstanding. the beds and furniture was very comfortable. We enjoyed playing pool. and grilling in the grill. it’s worth the atay

What a magical place to spend 5 days near Christmas (especially since it snowed)! We so enjoyed the lovely fireplace, the hot tub, the game room and the overall coziness of this home - truly a Hidden Gem that was a wonderful place to ring in my 65th year!

Absolutely perfect stay. Exceeded expectations by a long shot. House was perfect - charming, clean, and extremely well appointed. Bed was super comfortable too. Area is wonderful also - very charming town with plenty to do. We will definitely be returning!

great for a Lees Mcrae visit

This is a roomy house right on the Less Mcrae campus making it easy to use for drop offs, homecoming, parents weekend.

Great location right in downtown Banner Elk. We absolutely loved hearing the college bell go off every half hour. The beds were super comfortable and the outside living area was a common meeting place for my family. We enjoyed the fireplace every night we were there. The kitchen was very well stocked with everything we needed. Hot tub was clean. We would definitely stay there again.

Absolute gem! Beautiful location, great views from the porches, enjoyed the hot tub. Kitchen had everything we needed! My daughter loved sleeping on the sleeping porch! Beautiful bathrooms, plenty of living space! We had fun playing pool and resting! Incredible spot for all!

Great Getaway!

We had a great time at Hidden Gem, the house lived up to our expectations and was in a great location to experience a variety of activities in the area. The place was well maintained and clean. Would definitely stay there again.

Cozy Cabin

If you want a quiet, peaceful cabin with a wide variety of restaurants and activities nearby, this is the place for you. Loved relaxing at the end of the day in the hot tub or in front of the cozy fireplace.

Spring break getaway

We had a nice weekend;the back porch was definitely a highlight. We had 4 adults and 4 kids and we were all very comfortable.
