Secluded yet still close

We very much enjoyed our stay at The Sanctuary. Secluded in the mountain woods yet so easy to get to, and mere minutes from Boone.

Very nice cabin in a great location, with easy access to both Boone and Blowing Rock. The space was very clean and well organized. Owners were responsive to a couple of quick questions. Would highly recommend.

Beautiful home

We had a Great time saying in this beautiful home. The house had everything we needed to enjoy a wonderful weekend. The proximity to Boone and Blowing Rock is perfect!

Great Stay

The sanctuary was a great stay. It’s secluded but also about 5 minutes from multiple restaurants and stores and attractions. We had a blast playing pool downstairs and even made use out of the hot tub even though it was freezing!! We loved the house and definitely plan to stay here again.

Perfect for our getaway

The Sancturary was perfect for our summer family getaway. The cabin was great, one of the best we have stayed in in the mountains so far! The location was also perfect for everything we had planned - rafting, alpine coaster, App state, and Grandfather Mt. We will be back again. Thank you!

Family Vacation

Couldn’t have had a better stay! House was perfect and the location is incredible. You are tucked away in the mountains yet only 5 minutes away from any amenity you could need. The area has everything to keep the family entertained. We are planning our return trip next year!

Great communication with the hosts! Beautiful house, lots of places for people to sleep. The decor is very cozy and cute. The basement with its cute little beds and pool table, was a big hit with my teenagers. Wonderful outdoor space with hot tub and patio with fire pit was absolutely perfect! I wish the outdoor solar lights that surround this space were working, but who can control the sun! The hosts even left a s’more goodie box that was a nice touch. Great Trip!

We really enjoyed our stay at “The Sanctuary”. The location was great! We were able to get to Grandfather Mountain, nearby skiing and tubing, downtown Blowing Rock, and Tweetsie Railroad very easily. The accommodations were clean and comfortable. The house was fully equipped with everything you might need. The basement with game tables was a bonus for my children. I would recommend for sure!

Excellent Blowing Rock/Boone Location and Gorgeous Home!

We had a fabulous time at The Serenity from check-in to check-out. The home is gorgeous, amenities appreciated (super soft towels, the makings for smores and comfy beds, etc.), location is perfect and the host was right on top of any questions that we had. Thanks Mikala!

Awesome mountain house w/ a great location

My family spent a week touring around the Blowing Rock area and we loved staying at this house. Very comfortable/clean and had everything we needed to enjoy our stay.

Appalachian Ski Mountain

We enjoyed our visit the property was clean and comfortable. Access was easy and cabin location is the best with access to Boone and App Ski mountain in less that 10 minutes.

Beautiful, family friendly house!

We loved staying at this cabin! There were so many thoughtful amenities (kids games, a step ladder, etc). The decor is gorgeous, and we enjoyed the hot tub! It was a wonderful stay!!!

Excellent!

The property was clean, well maintained, a perfect location, and most of all, we felt very welcome there. Contact with the property owner was well received also. We totally recommend this VRBO!
