Good: Overall the main floor was nice and clear. Kitchen was well stocked Bedrooms were good sized and everything was in place Parking was covered Beach was walkable right from the home TVs had good amount of channels Check was smooth and host were gracious to extend check out time by 2 hours. Bad: Common bathroom: The shower rod was rusted giving anxiety to guest who used itMaster bathroom and common bathroom: Water didn't flow during shower - giving yucky feeling to users Grill: Was fully rusted and health hazard. We were hoping to use it but could not.

It was just as described… beachfront with plenty of room for all of us. The only issue I had was the 3 flights of stairs. There was an elevator but it stopped working after the first day. But we just labeled it as our “cardio workout “. There were beach chairs and a canopy there for use as well as deck chairs. I would highly recommend this for any large family

Comfortable beds, beach front, and good communication. We wish the thermostat would go lower than 70, but we were there in October, so it wasn't too bad. We enjoyed our stay.

Yes it was very welcoming and ready for us when we arrived. It was everything that we expected and had a memorable time as a family. Only issue was with the elevator but the repairman showed us what to do when it quit on us. Just needs some usual maintenance upkeep.

Excellent Beach Vacation with Stunning View

Loved our stay. Great location as we were able to walk or ride a bike to stores and restaurants. Very clean beach house with beach themed decor. Amazing view of the beach from two bedrooms, deck, and living room. Would definitely recommend staying here.

Perfect location and great house for a group.

Herons Hideaway is centrally located within a easy walk to the CB Boardwalk area and several restaurants. Direct beach access could not be easier. The layout of the house provides good space for a large group without being cramped. We would be happy to stay again.

Outstanding trip!

Central to the heart of Carolina beach, we had a great time on this trip. A well appointed kitchen made cooking for our large group a breeze! Owners have thoughtfully decorated and furnished this house and we wouldn’t change a a thing!!
