The pictures in the listing did not accurately reflect the condition of the property. The listing advertised AC, but none of the AC units were functional. Some weren’t even installed- units were completely disconnected from the windows. There was a smell of decay/garbage in the kitchen and entryway. Other cleanliness issues included dust, grime, and dead insects. There was also staining on the walls and rugs. The electrical outlets in the master bedroom did not work. The host advised us to flip the breaker, but the breakers in the box were unlabeled so this was not useful. One of the windows in the master bedroom was broken/not securable. (We found out when we tried to open it to cool down the room due to the lack of functional AC). This was a safety concern for us. Pros: the wifi worked as advertised, the apartment had hot water, the sheets smelled like detergent indicating they had been washed at some point.
