True North is a four season vacation rental that is perfect for every activity Maine has to offer; downhill and cross country skiing, snowmobiling, tubing, snowshoeing, skating, hiking, fishing, kayaking, ATV riding, mountain biking, zip-lining, geocaching and horseback riding and golfing. The Sunday River Golf Course (5 minutes away) was designed by Robert Trent Jones, Jr.. This course features an 18-hole championship course that winds through one of Maine’s most picturesque forests in a truly spectacular mountain setting.
True North features over 3,000 square feet of living space, including four bedrooms, three baths (master on suite with Jacuzzi tub), cathedral ceiling great room with 15 foot fieldstone fireplace, large open kitchen with island featuring stainless steel appliances, granite countertops, large dining area, large loft overlooking the great room, 1,000 square foot deck, plus screened in porch. Terrie and I are married with four children. We live on Long Island in New York and love vacationing in Maine.

Terrie and I, along with our children, are avid skiers and boarders. We learned to ski at a young age and encouraged our kids to ski at the age of 3. Every year we spent skiing found us turning through pages of the local real estate publications dreaming of one day owning our own ski home. After skiing Sunday River over the past several years it became apparent to us that this is where we wanted to have a vacation home. After many years of dreaming about this, 2013 became the year that we were able to make this dream come true for our family. We spent the winter and summer exploring the Newry and Bethel area and fell in love with all of the outdoor activities that this area has to offer. The house is beautiful and accommodating. We have decided to offer our home so that you too can experience this four season resort and its surrounding area. What is great about our property is that it is only 4 miles from Sunday River. The convenience of being able to ski and the come home for lunch is awesome. In the summer we are surrounded by outdoor activities. Our favorite is climbing the falls and swimming in the water pools.
