Beach view for this property was great. The kitchen was well equipped. Only thing is that you would need to provide all your spices as the unit only had salt and pepper available. The facility and pool was awesome. The beach was very rocky and we didn’t really get in it. Communication with the host was awesome as they were quick to respond to our inquiries.

We're sorry the shoreline wasn't quite what you expected. While the beach in front of the resort has some rocky areas, there are also perfect sandy portions. The condo was beautiful and the views were amazing. We loved the convenience to the ocean, many beaches close by, Kapaa town food trucks and the adjacent Wailua river. Great views for sunrise, you can enjoy it from the condo or head down to the beach area. The only thing that can be improved is the mattresses, they didn’t seem too comfortable.

Enjoyed our time in this beautiful oceanfront penthouse! The accommodations were fantastic, and the view was spectacular!Loved watching the sunrise in the morning and the moonrise in the evenings.

Fantastic View!

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was very happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We loved this condo and the location, best view I have had on my Hawaiian vacations over the years! We loved the town of Kapaa, shaved ice at Hee Fat is a must! A blender and more than one beach towel would have been nice to have in this condo, other than that we had a wonderful stay.

Aloha and thank you for being our guest! We appreciate your feedback and wish we would have known there suite was missing a blender. All of the properties we manage have blenders in them and we also have a storage facility on site in case something needs to be replaced. The blender in A402 must have been broken and our team must have missed that after the guest before you departed. Our apologies we did not catch this. I have confirmed there is now a blender in A402 and appreciate you letting us know. As for beach towels all of our guests are able to get 6 new fresh beach and pool towels per day at the pool desk. We do supply in suite towels as well. We hope to have the opportunity to host you again in the future in A402! Mahalo, Kauai Exclusive Management

Week in Paradise

Condo was amazing! Beautiful views, great pool and beach. Easy check-in for late night arrival too. Just a few small issues—Would appreciate knowing the door code change in advance. Some hallway construction was happening and wasn’t cleaned up in a timely manner. Doorway screens need repair, all were difficult to slide. We would definitely stay again!

We were not aware of any hallway construction. This work must have been done by the AOAO at the resort and we're sorry the mess was not cleaned up in a timely manner. With regards to the door code not working, you had requested and been granted a late checkout and we failed to send you new codes as all codes expire at 12pm on the day of checkout. This was a mistake on our behalf and we're sorry for the oversight. We were available and did get you in right away but the inconvenience should have never happened. Andrew & Carla Stay in Unit A402

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was very happy with the location. I was satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Our experience was overall very good. Only things we would like improved are as follows: 1. Mattresses were WAY to soft. I woke up with a sore back every morning. That is very rare for me. 2. The selection of decent channels on the TV were very poor. I assume they have only the most basic of channels. A suggestion would be to offer an upgrade of channels. My wife loves tennis and we were unable to watch the Australian Open. We only watch PG rated channels so more sports options and old movies help at night, especially on rainy days. 3. One last thing that would have helped is if detailed instructions on how to use the Cable TV as well as watching DVD's. We brought a couple favorite DVD's but couldn't figure out how to get them to play. I guess we're just not techno geeks. Other than those 3 issues, again, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. I would seriously consider coming back next year to that same unit, especially if the mattresses were a more firm.

Great Location

The location is absolutely perfect. Beautiful sunrise every morning. Easy access to fantastic pool (never crowded) with lots of secluded areas to sit and relax. Great kitchen with everything you need to enjoy meals if you don’t want to eat out. Only negative is the living room furniture. With 4 adults there really isn’t a comfortable spot to sit with only 1 chair and the couch (that slopes out toward the room) which leaves someone sitting at the dining table.

Two 50th Anniversaries

Perfect for two couples as the bedrooms are both masters and separated by the common space. The finishes in this condo is extremely nice and high-end. The property is very clean and well kept, pool area, lobby and manicured lawns and landscaping. It was quiet at night and just the right amount of lively during the day. Condo was located perfectly with a sweeping view of the Pacific and yet close to the pool and the Oasis Restaurant. There was ample parking. Overall, we would definitely book this property again.

50th anniversary celebration

Great location and wonderful staff. Love the oasis restaurant. A402 could use an updated bed in one bedroom and a couch that is more comfortable. Appears the rust is a big issue on the lanais. This condo is absolutely the best location and we were able to watch the whales from the lanai. The pool is close but not so that noise is an issue. Overall a great condo and beautiful grounds. Pool is so much fun with adult spas and two slides. Would come back for sure.

Problems getting into unit on arrival

Lovely mid-way stay from North and South Kauai

The location of the property is great if you plan to split your time between South and North Kauai. Kapa'a is within walking distance for shopping or restaurants. This unit is very clean and all is as advertised. Beds are comfortable and kitchen is reasonably stocked, though you will have to buy all cooking supplies (no salt, sugar, etc.). The beach is lovely. Bring binoculars if whale watching is your thing! We saw breaches and whales spouts nearly every day we were there. A monk seal even came up onto the beach on our last day there. One small note - it's very windy on the east side of the island. We're used to the Hawaiian trade winds, and these winds were the strongest we've been in by far. The pool was great, but we didn't stay in it long because it's quite cold when it's overcast or rainy due to the wind. The restaurant on premises is great - likely the best one in the local area. All in all, I would recommend this resort whole heartedly for those wanting to split time in various locations, who also want a very comfortable place on the beach to call home while exploring! NOTE: when we got on property our code would not work to get in, and it wasn't addressed until the next day by the vacation rental property. It may be helpful to know that the security guards are very helpful and can help address these situations quickly! As a previous review stated, there is no concierge and everything gets very quiet around 6pm - no reception, registration, etc. That being said, the security guards were easy to find, and very helpful!

This is our third time at this resort first time in this condo, view was great condo was very clean.

Only complaint was the the king bed on the right side of condo needs a new mattress, it was uncomfortable, my husband spent most nights on the couch
