Didn't Get to Stay

We arrived early for our check-in which was accomodated easily and we were grateful for that. The house was nice and well kept but the pool was green and unusable. The owner let us know that it would be serviced the next day so we wouldn't be able to swim for two out of our 3 days there. We chose this place because of the pool so this was very unfortunate. I asked if there was a way to discount our stay since the pool wasn't usable but the owner told us she would refund our stay in total. We were stuck trying to find a new place for our group. Fortunately, we found a place down the street that was available and worked for us.

A Week of Memory Making

This home was perfect for our family! We brought seven of our grandchildren for a week of cousin camp. This was our second summer staying in Sharon’s beautiful home. Our grandsons fished directly behind the house and caught catfish, perch, and bass. All of our grands loved the pool and hot tub. This home easily sleeps 10, with room to spare. The extra large dining table was perfect for all of our crafts and games. The kitchen is well stocked with everything you might need. The entire property is extremely clean and well maintained. Sharon is a gracious hostess and always quick to respond to any questions. We will definitely return for another week of MikeyMimi camp.

Quick Trip

House was very clean, plenty of room, and great views. Pool was wonderful! Great location, close to HEB, & house was nicely stocked and plenty of bath/kitchen towels. Great communication with host throughout stay. Definitely would stay again.

Awesome Eclipse getaway!

1. The property owner is amazing and great at communicating with! 2. The house was the perfect size for my family to get together for the eclipse! 3. The house was clean! 4. The house had everything we needed to cook family meals together! 5. The pool was so much fun for everyone! We are already trying to figure out when we can escape and come back!

Family weekend

We had such an amazing Easter weekend at this beautiful property. The house is beautiful and immaculate. We spent the majority of our time outside in the pool and spa overlooking the river and majestic views. It was so peaceful and we thoroughly enjoyed our time here. Sharon was so accommodating with all of my requests and questions. We will stay here again.

Awesome Girls weekend getaway

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay last weekend. The house was very clean and had everything we needed. We cooked in and ate out at some good restaurants. Lots of room for crafting and R&R! We spent most of the time in the sunroom facing the pool and river. Absolutely perfect. We will definitely be back! Thank you Sharon for sharing your home with our group. Great Mexican food very close by 'Alfredo's Mexican'.

Backyard is everything

The house is beautiful and there are ample supplies. But the backyard is the best part of it all. The pool is just the right size, and the view of the river and the hills behind is so calming and peaceful. It is terrifically quiet in the neighborhood, which is just what we were looking for.

Beautiful stay

This was a wonderful spot for me and my friends to stay for a weekend getaway. The house was clean and well stocked with the essentials. Great location right outside of town. The only reason that I am giving four stars is because we paid an extra $150 fee to have the pool heated which caused issues with the hot tub being heated correctly. We used the pool but could not utilize the hot tub as it did not reach above 85°.

Relaxing stay

We enjoyed our trip, spending most of the time in the pool overlooking the river and hills. It was very peaceful. The house was very comfortable.

Warm weather when we arrived and than a Winter 🥶 storm blew in. Beautiful contrast in a very comfortable house. We would like to return in the summer.

Beautiful and relaxing

We stayed for 4 days at the property. The home is very comfortable, lots of space and the kitchen is fully stocked with anything you could need. We loved the sunroom in the morning. My favorite place was the outdoor seating with fire pit near the river under the trees. Perfect. The boys enjoyed exploring the sand bars in the river and wading in the water and the river is perfect for kayaking. We saw pigs, deer (which come up into the yard at night), and raccoons. Beds were very comfortable and the host was very accommodating with a lot of attention to detail in the property. We loved the whole time and plan on a return trip. Highly recommend the property.

Great spot on the Llano River

My family and I really enjoyed this spot. The landlord was very responsive and really made the attempt to care for her renters. The home was clean and the view to the river was better than tv. Between the birds, deer, ducks and geese there was always something going on. Close to stores and restaurants. I would most definitely stay again. Thank you Sharon for your hospitality.

We will return.

The house was perfect for my family. We had 6 adults and a child stay here for four nights. The house has a lot of room to spread out, be comfortable, play games and enjoy each other’s company!!! The porch , yard and fire pit area are amazing. We spent a lot of time in these areas. The water was right there at the end of the yard with easy access. It was a great place to Be together and relax at. Everything is clean and better than in the pictures!!!

Great for kids, Needs improvement

Pros: nice layout, lovely shaded patios, pretty updated, sleeps a lot of people, shaded parking, shallow water for kids to play, kitchen had good amount of cookware, 2 beach chairs are provided. Cons: not enough towels (especially in light of no access to the washer/dryer) and the ones they do have are old and worn, hardly any paper towels (2 rolls that had 1/3 left on them), no soap for shower, no cleaning supplies, hand soap so watered down that it barely did anything, microwave kept overheating and shutting off, oven timer defective went off all night and we had to finally shut off breaker, drain in bathroom sink was broken but owner offered to fix it ASAP (my husband fixed it), mattresses on king beds were very saggy and pillows hard, one bunk bead had no sheets and owner had to send someone to add them. Would’ve been nice if some kayaks, paddle boards or sand toys were available but description is clear that they are not.

Quiet, fun, relaxing retreat

This is a beautiful property with gorgeous views of the river, a spacious and lovely home, very comfortable. We had everything we needed for a perfect stay. The owner was easy to reach and quick to reply to any of our questions. It was so great to have a place to just be, to laugh and play together as a family, and to sit quietly and drink in the beautiful nature around us. We loved our experience!

This home is beautiful! The lake access is wonderful. Loved it!

Especially loved all the special touches, like the hand-written note left for us with tips about where to eat, working the A/C, etc. There were lots of extra blankets and the kitchen was nicely outfitted for any type of cooking. Loved everything about it, and hope to go back!

Property was beautiful and the home worked well for our family vacation.

We loved our stay at the Kingsland property. The back porch was a favorite spot to gather in the morning and visit. We enjoyed s’mores at the fire pit. Watched the humming birds and the ducks that wondered up. It was quiet and peaceful. We took the kids just down the street to the park with beach access to the water for swimming and went to Inks Lake a couple of days, too. The house accommodated all our needs. Once we made a grocery run, everything else we needed was at the house. With the water levels down from no rain, we didn’t venture to the Slab for a fun day of water activity, but will check it out the next time. We had a great week!
