The living room offers additional space with a comfy sofa bed for extra guests. Enjoy the lovely and serene atmosphere of this retreat. We had the best time and will 100% be back!! The hosts go above and beyond to make everyone feel welcome and at home. This is a hidden gem and probably one of my favorite places we’ve ever stayed.

Had a great time and the kids really enjoyed the pool. Wife liked watching the deer in the morning and evening. The host was very helpful and making sure everything was to our liking. Everything was a short drive away.

We spent 4th of July with friends and the home was immaculate. It was stocked with all the essentials and then some. We all loved the pool as well as the hot tub. The owners where nearby if needed and accommodating. We definitely will be returning in the near future. If you are looking for a place to get away and relax this is it..

This is an amazing property I guarantee you won’t be disappointed staying here. We even got to meet the owners super friendly folks. The area is out far enough it’s quiet but close enough for a quick run for food or order DoorDash. Pool property hot tub all clean so enjoyed watching the deer come up and eat thru out the day

We had a great stay at Jack's Cottage! The house was clean, the beds were comfortable, and the kitchen was well equipped with everything we needed to prepare meals. The pool and hot tub were definitely the highlight! We used them every day. The screened porch and back patio were great for relaxing. The location was perfect, close to both the Comal & Guadalupe rivers, Schlitterbahn, and downtown Gruene. We'd definitely stay here again and highly recommend it. 10/10!

Well equipped and well maintained property in the best location! Great place to unplug and unwind. Lots of outdoor seating and living space to make up for minimal interior living space. Screened-in porch was fantastic for coffee and wildlife observation! Owners were friendly and respectful of privacy. Hot water was plentiful! Perfectly clean pool and hot tub to enjoy after busy days on the river and at the water park. Can’t wait to come back!
