This spot is perfect for families and friends. This 1942 home has been fully restored and updated. Once you walk into the beach themed house you will be tempted to kick off your shoes and relax. The house is equipped with a full kitchen, washer/dryer, and the most comfortable beds. The house also offers private parking and a private deck to view the wave pool at Schlitterbahn.
Batey’s Beach Haus is located around everything you need. It is a few steps away from Schlitterbahn Waterpark and you are within walking distance to Wurstfest. . It’s a few blocks from many tubing/rafting companies. It is also a walk away from the many activities at Landa Park.

Wurstfest stay

We had a wonderful stay at this charming house with an easy walk to Wurstfest. The house was very clean and had everything we needed. We would definitely stay here again.

Schlitterbahn Oasis

Fantastic little place just steps away from the gate. Fun beach themed decor and perfect spot for our group of 6 to gather and relax before and after our days in the park.

Amazing

First time staying here and we will most definitely return. Closest private rental to Schlitterbahn and less than 50 yards from the side entrance. Home was clean, comfortable, and great to be able to come back to for a mid-day break from the waterpark. Excellent communication from the owners and made for the most stress-free trip we’ve had in a long time. This place is an absolute must book for a Schlitterbahn if available!

Schlitterbahn stay

We came with our family to enjoy a couple days at the water park and the town. The location could not be more perfect. So conventient, easy to walk right into the park each day! House was clean, had everything we needed. Will stay here again!

Best House to Rent

Very nice clean house, everything you need to do a little cooking etc. Lots of extras included with this house. My family does lots of traveling and renting of property during the year. This house and its owner are one of the Best we've stayed in. Right next door to Schlitterbahn, definitely a 5 Star. Thank you, Hume Family

Loved this Beach Haus!

The house was perfect for our vacation needs! Schlitterbahn, Landa Park, and downtown were very accessible. We all enjoyed the waterpark, while some of us enjoyed the Landa Park spring-fed pool, fishing pier, and park train. We had everything we needed in the house. The host, Veronica, was very responsive with communications. We made some great memories during our stay and looking forward to a future stay!

My favorite getaway

We absolutely love staying here and the host is amazing. The location to Schlitterbahn is the best you can ask for. I love sitting on the porch in the morning with a coffee. Thank you again for a wonderful stay. 😊

Vacation getaway

Lovely beach house right next door to Schlitterbahn!

Our 2nd year to stay here and it’s a perfect location to Schlitterbahn where our family has been coming every year for 30 years! Veronica has provided everything you could want or need! You can walk to so many places and the beach decor is so adorable!! Highly recommend!!

The Perfect Place for a Girls' Weekend!

I can't say enough about how great this house was for our group of six moms staying over Memorial Day weekend for a wedding. The decorations were absolutely adorable! The kitchen had everything you might possibly need including coffee filters and coffee. Everything was so clean and in great condition. We loved the wrap-around porch with lots of chairs and a picnic table. It really is right next to the Schlitterbahn, making it super convenient to get to. Although, despite it being very crowded over Memorial Day Weekend, it wasn't very loud. The location was also very close to the river. There were pamphlets and a restaurant guide in the house to help us navigate our fun activities. I especially loved that the owner allowed us to pick the combo we wanted for the door and it was all set when we arrived. So convenient! The leaving instructions were also super easy to follow! The owner was quick to respond to any questions we had. The town itself and the neighboring town of Guene are so much fun. We had the best time! I highly recommend this house!

Wonderful experience

The house was as described and extra welcoming. Veronica did fantastic job of anticipating our every need with extra touches. Good location for us to enjoy the area. When leaving we discussed would definitely to stay here again when visiting the area.

Great Stay

This place was great! Can't give enough ++++'s. Quiet, cozy, and all the amenities you could need. Beds are sleep number, which we are used too and perfect. Highly recommend.
