Very nice house on the bay! Plenty of space and kitchen was very well stocked with cooking equipment. We enjoyed our stay!

The house was good for the weekend, the only things that stood out were the flooring all throughout the kitchen and living room. The planks were lifting and broken in places, and right at the back door was a big wooden board that was stabilizing the floor to the outside patio. Which was a little alarming but it was covered by a carpet, another thing is that a few of the blinds on a few windows in the living room were broken.

The house is big and clean. Love that it's right on the canal with a dock and outdoor shower. The ladder into the canal was very helpful. There was plenty of parking and amenities. Highly recommend this house--perfect for a family reunion!

Overall things were good. A few minor things:1.The Hammock was in need of repair as the ropes were frayed and some were severed.2. No batteries in downstairs TV remote.3. The dishwasher had water backed up inside so we were reluctant to use it.

We just went for a quick getaway and it was just as the doctor ordered. This place is beautiful and diverse. The host provided all the necessary details and more (like info on Galveston island). We slept comfortably and the community was quiet. Although there was a storm that rolled through, the house didn't shake or feel like it was swaying like I have experienced in other rentals. The host was wonderful from front to end so I will definitely stay here again!

The pictures were no where near what the condition of property showed there was ply wood bolted to the floor! They did not clean the house before we got there a dirty diaper was even on the floor, cleaning crew showed up while we were there and said they didn’t have clean sheets for the beds. The bolts were not screwed in all the way on plywood which made it dangerous for my grandkids. It was so bad we left and had to go back home only stayed long enough to try and sort it out with Vrbo which never got resolved. The place is a wreck!

This property was falling apart! Sagging floor boards that they tried to cover up with a rug! The bunk bed was sagging so badly we were afraid that the top bunk would fall through and crush the children on the bottom bunk! The bottom bunk”game room@ smelled like mold and was not connected to the upper living area! The children were expected to walk up and down the outside stairs to get into the main living area! That hosts refused to respond to our concerns about safety and would not refund our money! It states a one minute walk to beach which was a lie! The beach was no where in site! This is a horrible horrible vacation home that should not be allowed to be rented out to customers!! The pictures are fake! The sofa had dog hair all over it and the living room was basically a corner in the room! So disappointed. Let this be your fair warning! I know people put bad reviews for all kinds of reasons but our reasons are very valid and all I can say now is “stay at your own risk”!!!!

Fridge needs to be painted , when it rained small water leak in bedroom dripping on the top bunk. Felt muggy in the home with signs of possible mold. Front door was terrible to open and shut. The floor was warped and in terrible condition throughout the home. Bathroom down stairs needs a new shower. Felt like we overpaid for this property. Do not supply shampoo or conditioner for the amount of guest it sleeps. Had a funny smell especially downstairs. Underneath the house needs to be cleaned up along with doors. Pictures make it look way nicer than it really is. There was a missing lightbulb over the counter light .

The pictures told a different story. The message responses seemed to be mostly automated because there were discrepancies. Many of the blinds were broken. There was plywood screwed to the floor in front of the balcony door that was not pictured or disclosed. The listing said pool, but it was not disclosed that it was a community pool or that it cost 5 a person. I even messaged the host and asked about the pool and got what I assume was an automated response saying there was a pool. When I asked where it was, they said to disregard the prior response and that there was no pool onsite but a community pool. Also, when asked about coffee, they said there was a Keurig with a starter supply of Kcups, but there was actually a drip coffee maker with coffee grounds. That was acceptable, but just interested that they didn't send the correct information. The refrigerator is old and not very cold. No fans in the 2 secondary bedrooms or in the bathroom. The lights flickered every time the AC kicked on. One bulb in the kitchen was flickering constantly and a light in the hallway kept randomly coming on. The pictures definitely showed it to be MUCH nicer than it was. I will say the bed situation and linens were nice. Once we got the AC in the correct setting (someone had it in the "on" position instead of "auto") it cooled down just fine. The flooring was in poor shape and the deadbolt was useless. Many things could be improved for a minor cost that would have made the stay better.

We did enjoy our stay overall, especially the location—the water view in the back was really lovely and a highlight.However, the listing photos don’t feel like an accurate representation of the home’s current condition. There were several maintenance and detail issues that added up.Outside, the dock area could use attention. The old swing was left on the ground, and broken boat straps were wrapped around the wood or hanging loose. The green fishing light on the dock was also not working, which made fishing difficult, especially for kids.Downstairs, the listing mentioned two arcade games, but there was only one. The bed is placed directly next to a window, and I hit my head on the trim the first night. The plumbing downstairs is described as “sensitive,” but the toilet does not refill quickly enough for a courtesy flush.Upstairs, the kitchen chairs did not match the listing photos. The floor in front of the patio door is worn and dips when stepped on. The refrigerator has visible rust spots, and the main front burner on the stove did not work. The Roku remote was also difficult to use, and some streaming apps were not accessible or appeared logged into multiple accounts.Individually these may seem small, but together they impacted the experience. With some maintenance and updates, this property could better match expectations.

Home was in a great location, the layout was very weird. It needs a lot of home improvements and we had some safety concerns. One of the wood swing benches actually broke while I was sitting in it, thankfully it was me and not my 4yr-old who could have hit her head on the concrete. The lights downstairs were odd - couldnt leave fan on without keeping all lights on. Not enough outlets in that room or dressers nor night stands throughout entire home. Beds were NOT comfortable. The top bunk metal support rod in room downstairs room was about to break - squeaked with every movement so we didnt sleep. The shampoo and "essentials" were from dollar tree and not enough for a house that can sleep 16 people. The floor boards in front of 2nd level porch need to be replaced like a while ago. Its caved in and broken. Same goes for the upstairs porch. For the money, the only thing we valued was the location. The upstairs got up to 76 our last day with it NOT cooling down. We ended up leaving early due to none of us being able to sleep, be cooled and family emergency, decided we would rather drive through the night then stay another being uncomfortable. I wish the pictures and description were better to help shoppers get a better understanding of the layout - I had NO idea the 2nd and 1st floors were not technically together, had to go outstide to get downstairs. I also wished they would have at least provided SOMETHING for the beach, knowing most people are traveling. And had 1 game LOL

First of all it doesn’t look as clean as the pictures show mold in the showers it had an odd Oder maybe just the humidity mixed with the house being older. The house is a little warm the ac has a hard time cooling and you can’t turn it below 70 or it might freeze up. All the furniture is stained and smells, you can not use the ceiling fan down stairs at night because they have it if it’s on the lights are on and you can not turn off the light without turning off the fan and in late July you need the fan! Also there is a week spot in the floor that is about 2ft by 2 ft round. Lolo they just threw a couple pieces of plywood down over it and put a few screws in it and not all the way because my granddaughter hit one and ripped her floor open make for a nice trip to spend at urgent care and stitches. All we were offered was a late check out after we had checked out. And to top it off to come in and find ants has invaded all our clothes in out luggage and they were everywhere. This was our stay from Hell !!! Texted the owner and nothing back so I would absolutely fine another place other than this one.

A little lacking. House was not in tip top shape for the price. Ice maker did not work. The was a soft spot by the rear door going out to the deck. The canal setting was good. The game room was over advertised. The master bedroom door lacked privacy and would not stay closed. No closets in the master and one other bedroom. Overall a 7 out of 10.
