The Rogue River House is an amazing 2.4 acre gated and fully fenced estate located directly on the Rogue River, 5 miles east from Grants Pass, Oregon. It has been rumored that it was built for a famous Hollywood star in 1939. The house has 3 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms within 3900 sq. ft. of living space to accommodate up to 8 people. The home is nestled among towering pines fronting the beautiful Rogue River. This home is your private resort getaway. Make no mistake, the house, view, river, pool and the setting will take your breath away. This is an upscale vacation home with all the amenities. The furnishings are tasteful and comfortable. The house had major remodels in 2015 and 2022 and was a previous VRBO rental between 2015 and 2018 with many repeat guests. View this estate on our home's website: ROGUERIVERHOUSE.COM. Sweeping views of the Rogue River and the surrounding mountains to the north are yours from almost every room. Take a dip in the large solar heated pool or walk our private access path down to the river's edge to fish. Comfortably furnished family room and living room with a wall of windows overlooking the pool and river. Fully equipped eat-in kitchen, formal dining room to seat 12, wireless high speed internet, 4 TVs, two refrigerators, a box freezer and a large laundry room with washer and dryer. The master bedroom with ensuite bath, guest bedroom and a full bath are located on the main floor. The family room has a comfortable pull out queen sofa air bed. Downstairs is a third bedroom with ensuite bath, a bunk bed and queen sofa pull out bed with separate access to the back yard. All bedding, towels, pool towels and ice chests are provided for your use. The back yard has a solar heated pool, three large decks, patio tables with chairs, lounge chairs, umbrellas and a propane BBQ. You can access the river down a private path from the backyard where there is a private viewing deck for your use, a private fishing beach and a private 2 mile walking trail along the river's edge. We are located minutes from shopping, restaurants, wine tasting, golf, fishing, rafting, 1 hour to the Oregon Caves, 2 hours to the Oregon coast, the California Redwoods and Crater Lake. Or just lounge at pool's edge with your favorite beverage. It's all yours!!

Such a perfect vaycay! Traveled with my husband, 2 sisters, daughter and niece. The “kids cave” was perfect for the teenagers. Definitely wouldn’t work for young kids as it is in the basement and far away from the main living space (cannot hear in the bedroom when we yelling down the stairs for dinner). Also, lots of spiders and centipedes :)The space was very clean and comfortable. It was well furnished and supplied without feeling like you’re in someone else’s space. I will miss breakfasts on the back deck by the pool! There is a family friend of the owner that was staying in the attached guest house. He seemed friendly and we didn’t interact with him much. He sat out and smoked in his truck all night which didn’t disturb us, just thought it was odd. I only mention this because we saw it was a private gated home and didn’t expect someone to be with us. We were notified a week before our arrival. Overall the trip was wonderful and I would highly recommend this home. The views are stunning!

Hi Kasey: We are glad you enjoyed the home, pool and had a nice get-away. We are helping out a family friend whose home burnt down and we are providing an emergency place to stay until his home gets repaired. There is no TV in the guest house so he sits in his car and does business, watches TV and has a cigar on occasion. He is super nice and responsible and will make every effort to stay out of the way of our guests, always. He has his own amenities, access and parking spot remote from the main house. We treat our property monthly for bugs etc. and do get a few in the kid cave bedroom since it is open to the rear yard and on the lower level which is treated often. This is the joy of living in a forest. Nature at its finest. We hope you consider a return trip to our home in your future vacation planning and thank you for staying at the Rogue River House.
