The River House is the perfect “home base” for your rafting, hiking, and fishing getaway to this beautiful and pristine wilderness area located on the Wild and Scenic Rogue River. The River House offers a peaceful and private environment along 300 ft of riverfront on three acres of beautiful land with all the amenities to make you feel right at home. Kitchen is fully stocked and will have everything you will need during your stay including spices, pantry food basics, blender, mixer, food processor, large country griddle, and more! Bedrooms all have comfy beds, high end linens and plush pillows. Bathrooms come with plenty of towels, soap, toilet paper, tissues, and more. Recently remodeled and newly furnished with everything you will need for a perfect getaway. Enjoy the 16x40 ft deck overlooking the river with a gas grill to cook out on! Horseshoe pit in the backyard with river view provides lots of family fun. Acres of open grass yard area to throw around the football, play flashlight tag, throw a Frisbee for the dog, practice your golf swing, run & play, you name it! Our private gravel bar beach is located on easy flow riverfront with great fishing and swimming opportunities. Bring a folding chair down to the river and soak your feet in the water! This home is located just downriver from 'Brushy Chutes' - a popular fishing spot for trophy salmon and steelhead! Lots of parking in front of the house for cars, trucks, and boats. Robertson’s Bridge boat launch is located just 1 mile away. Crater Lake National Park, Oregon Caves, Britt Festival, Ashland Shakespeare Festival and more are within an hours drive or less. This is the spot for the perfect blend of relaxation and adventure. Let the fun begin!

Dogs are also allowed at the river house with advance approval from host. Please send a message telling us about your furry family members. There will be an additional $50 fee and a pet policy for your to read and accept.

Good Choice

This is our second stay in a property managed by Cherry. Both times our experience has be excellent. The properties are located in a more rundown section of town, which is the only downside. They are close to grocery stores and restuartants. The property was clean, cute and secure. You won't regret staying here.

Army family of four that can't get enough of the outdoors!

Por qué eligió esta propiedad

Stephen and I both grew up in North Bend, on the Oregon coast. Together with our families, we spent our childhood summers camping and rafting the Rogue. As children, we would float by the homes along the side of the river and always dream about someday owning one of them.
In 2011, we decided it was time to fulfill that dream and purchased the house from its original owner. We have spent the last few years remodeling it inside and out. The home is now a favorite gathering place for our family and friends. We are enjoying watching the next generation create memories at the River House and discovering the magic of the Rogue River. The home truly is our childhood dream come true and our favorite place to vacation. We are so happy to share the magic with you!

Qué distingue a esta propiedad

The property has a park like setting with large grassy areas with lots of trees. The riverfront is a beautiful thing to wake up to each day. Sitting on the deck and looking at it flow by is very peaceful. The deck also serves as a wildlife viewing area. There is a family of deer that will often stroll through the yard in the evening to head to the river to get a drink. Lots of squirrels, birds, and other critters to enjoy.
