This centrally located 475 sq ft (44 m²) apartment with hard wooden floor and nice carpentry, situated on ground floor in quiet area nearby Central Station (only 2 busstops away), is really amazing by it's art decorating and surprising design.

Very nearby what was elected in 2011 and 2012 as the most pleasant shopping street of the Netherlands you'll find a variety of conveniences as foodmarket, cinema, restaurants (Japanese, Indian, French, Italian, Dutch, Chinese etc), cafés, bistros, all kind of small shops.

At a two minutes walk you'll get the feeling being in a typical Dutch harbour village: Bickerseiland and Prinseneiland.

Amsterdam offers a lot of famous museums like the Van Gogh Museum, Rijksmuseum (national museum), Stedelijk Museum (modern art). Other sites worth visiting: Anne Frank House, Concertgebouw (the Royal Concertgebouw Orchestre), Synagogues (the Portugese e.g. to be seen!), Music Halls, and so much more.......Enjoy your stay!

This condo is a true gem. Perfect location with groceries and restaurants very close. Kitchen is well set up with all you need to cook your own meals. Very comfortable!

We had a wonderful stay - the apartment was clean, comfortable and nicely appointed. The host welcomed us personally and explained all the workings of the kitchen, heat, etc. The location is amazing - walkable (or tram nearby) to most city sites, restaurants and grocery stores. Loved staying in the historic part of Amsterdam- very few cars so quiet.Highly recommend!

Wonderful apartment in a great location, and Peter the host was just terrific. He gave me some history along with the layout of the city on my arrival, and was responsive whenever I had any questions. The apt was quiet and comfortable, and being able to cook was just great,Many restaurants/shops very close by, including a laundromat a block away. Amsterdam Centraal (major train hub) was about a 15 mnute walk. I hope to return to Amsterdam ,and if I do I would certainly want to stay here again. Highly recommended , and many thanks to Peter for his friendliness and warmth.

A week in Amsterdam

A wonderful place to stay. We enjoyed the quality of the accommodation and it's location, We were within walking distance of the city centre, and so many other places of interest.

Extremely well located within a comfortable walking distance of all good restaurants and the hip district of Jordan Then Central station is so near you get all comfortable connections to museums and major attractions All in all excellent Very quite neighborhood

We were very happy with our stay at the Dutch/Japanese condo! It was spotless and very well appointed-we especially enjoyed the espresso machine every morning! The best part is the location in the heart of a charming shopping/restaurant district and easy walking distance to many of the things we wanted to see. The bus stop and train station are so close it was easy to access when we wanted to explore further out. I would stay here again without hesitation!

Kitchen was fully equipped for all cooking needs with a multitude of shops and restaurants in the neighborhood. The host went above and beyond all expectations providing a very satisfying experience.

Great place to stay

Great location,fully equipped,very clean.Peter was very helpful with all the information needed to enjoy Amsterdam and a real gentleman. Would fully recommend for a couple who would like to cook any of the great produce available in the convenient area. Would certainly rebook again.

We had a great stay in Peter’s VRBO. He allowed us to drop bags early and personally showed us the condo and answered all questions at the check in time. Great location in Amsterdam, well equipped kitchen with plenty of shopping, cafes, restaurants nearby. We would highly recommend his condo and consider staying again in the future.

Awesome property and great location...

Property is ideally located for explorations of both Amsterdam and Netherlands... We used as base for using train system to traveling to several surrounding small towns and cities in addition to Amsterdam explorations... Property design is awesome and unique with great amenities...

Such an amazing stay!!

My fiance and I had stayed here for 5 nights and we loved it! The home was cosy and clean and even though it is right next to the train line and roads, we did not hear anything the entire stay. The host Peter, is a lovely lovely man who has everything waiting for you if you need it. Could not recommend this stay enough :)

Peter was a very good host. Great with communication and the meet and greet upon our arrival. The property is in a very good location, walking distance from the train station and all the sights. Good choice of cafes, shops and bakeries in the next street

Fantastic experience!

The place was excellent! Loved the Japanese themed house and it was in a great location. It was very well stocked, with a fantastic coffee machine. Peter was a great host was extremely timely, lovely and generous! Would definitely return for another stay in the future!

Amsterdam Stay

Property was exactly as show and location was perfect for 6 days of touring Amsterdam. The host Peter was prompt in responding to our questions prior to our stay and was at the property for our check in. He explained everything and answered any questions we had. Would highly recommend this place as a home base for a stay in Amsterdam.

Wonderful stay

I sincerely thank the host for providing a wonderful accommodation with an artistic sense. The host gave us a warm welcome and kindly guided us on how to use the accommodation.
