The property itself was very nice. Nothing about it was cheap, but you could tell it was not privately owned. Sparse appointments. One standard trash bag, roll of tp, and dishwasher pod. Just enough for one day. A few beach things in a bin, not enough for a family. Kitchen was sparsely equipped. Soap dispensers empty. No hose on the outside shower faucet to clean off your beach gear. But the real issue was it was not cleaned well. Hair and sand everywhere. Dust bunny tumble weeds. Food slopped on the cabinets. Grease on the countertops. Sand still in the showers. The garbage cabinet wouldn’t close because there were water bottles, trash and even a slice of pizza wedged in behind it that we had to fish out to close the cabinet. The floors were soaked from mopping when we arrived but immediately stained your socks black once dried. Bad first impression. We notified the support and they sent a cleaner without telling us. The cleaner barged in unannounced on my wife taking a shower. The support seems to be ran be AI and not real people. I asked them to call me about this all and they never did. Just an apology on the VRBO app. The pool was fine, but they have a tree shedding leaves continuously into it, so prepare to skim it every day. The beach access code was wrong, got it from strangers. Nice place but the management is terrible. You can’t rent chairs in this area so bring your own. Our week was double red flags and seaweed, so the place was even more important. Won’t be back.
