Go Boating, fishing , swimming, paddle boarding, kayaking or just relax on the porch or by the fire pit. Enjoy the mountain views while enjoying this getaway close to downtown Hiawassee, Young Harris, Murphy, Hayesville, Blairsville and just 30 minutes from Helen. Once you are there, you won't want to leave!

Great location for us. The lake is low now but still great water and mountain view. Great deck to sit on. Cottage decor was awesome and everything was clean and in good working order. Thank you for the great stay.

Great cove and dock access for our boat! Public launch was very close in same cove. Peaceful and quiet, well equipped, clean and very relaxing. Headboard could use sealant to eliminate stain smell, internet speed was marginal when both my wife and I were online (for work) but hey it's supposed to be vacation. Owners were engaged and responsive. The is our 2nd time at Lake Chatuge and we love it!

Cozy Cottage

My husband and I stayed here for a weekend getaway. It is just as it seems in the pictures. We loved it! It felt so homey and a lot bigger than it actually is. I enjoyed the dock and the jetted tub the most and he really enjoyed taking his kayak out to fish and actually caught some too! I definitely will be back. Wendy was very quick to communicate as well.

Excellent Lakeside Property

This property was a great place for use to have a quiet weekend getaway super close to Hiawassee! We enjoyed the jet tub and beautiful porch view of the lake.

Cute cabin on lake cove.

Had a lovely weekend in Hiawassee. Cabin was clean but a little dusty. The only odd thing was the dishwasher. When setting was on dry Heat, the appliance ran all night long into the morning. Had to be manually turned off. Everything else was fine.

This place is FABULOUS !!!!!

I can’t say enough about this adorable cottage !!! The owners were absolutely wonderful and we were lucky to get to meet them ! We came down for a fishing trip pulling a bass boat and had plenty of room to turn the trailer and truck around . And though we were there after the water level had been lowered , the public boat dock was conveniently just 2 minutes down the road . As far as the lodging : this place is way more spacious than I thought it would be and the layout was great ! The bed was super comfy and everything we needed was right at our fingertips . Coffee , tea , even body wash ! The cleanliness was spot on and the back porch looking out at the water was divine . We will be back and I can’t wait !!! My new favorite place !

We had a great time playing in the lake. We were able to bring our jetski and tie it up to the dock when we weren’t using it. The house had everything we needed and the location was close to so many different day activities

This cabin was perfect for our lake vacation! We enjoyed all the comforts of home with our own slip for our boat. The decor of the cabin was adorable with the most comfortable bed for a good night’s rest. We loved the location with easy access to town. We will most definitely will be back again!

Perfect place on the water for two!

We have stayed at several of these chalets over the years, and just love the location. The owners were very responsive. The inside is cozy and well equipped. The sheets and towels smelled heavenly! The only disappointment was the grill; we were there over a week and looked forward to a couple of grilled meals, but would not use the very rusty, poorly maintained grill on the porch. We recommend replacement. All the other grills on the other chalets were so much better.
