Had high expectations and all were surpassed! Spectacular view, well appointed accommodation, very convenient location in quiet neighborhood and deer walking thru the yard! Loved our stay and the hosts were awesome!

Adorable little seaside dwelling! A little confused where to go at first but we did arrive after sunset. Felt very private. Watching the waves crash from bed in the morning was top tier. Loft area is cute, comfortable bed, hot tub over looking the ocean was incredible. Would love to stay again.

This is truly an incredible place, with stunning, unobstructed views of the Pacific Ocean. Unfortunately, the hot tub was not working during our stay, but we received a small compensation for the inconvenience, so we have absolutely no complaints about it.We would be very happy to return to this property again.

I could not have asked for a better experience! From the view to the cleanliness and just peacefulness of the property. I'm not sure I've ever stayed anywhere so beautiful and would definitely stay there again.

Can't find a thing negative. The whole experience was exceptional, from dealing with the host, the facility was white glove perfect, the view was breathtaking, there's no way a person could be anything but in awe. Can't wait to come back

This is THE place to go on your honeymoon. Waking up to the sound and views of crashing waves is reason enough alone to book this property. The hot tub is situated perfectly for privacy and you're still able to enjoy the ocean breeze. A full kitchen a spa bathroom was a perfect place to come back to after a day of outings. In the evening, we enjoyed seeing deer and smaller creatures come bym Only 10 minutes away from town and right by the Mendocino Bottanical Gardens too!Do not hesitate, book this place!

Beautiful place!

We loved the property, the view, the hot tub! It was so lovely to also have such a lovely place to take our doggie on her first trip to the ocean! Would definitely come back again and have already recommended it to friends.

Paradise at the Coast

We enjoyed our stay here, will definitely go back again! Ocean Views were amazing. Wildlife, birds and sunsets!!

What a great stay. Greg is a great host! Beautiful location on the bluffs, with hot tub and fire pit where we could sit and watch the waves crash on shore, and spot sea lions bobbing and swimming in the surf. Cozy and convenient to town of Ft Bragg. Would definitely recommend, and we will be back.

Amazing views!

Our stay at Puffins Perch was incredible. The cottage had everything we needed to cook, play games, and relax with the amazing views. The porch and hot tub are amazing! Communication was great, and the neighborhood was perfect to take our pup on walks, and go for leisurely strolls. We would definitely stay again!

Ocean Oasis

This cottage is an absolute oasis. The view is incredible. There is nothing more romantic than watching the sunset from the hot tub. It has all the amenities you need for a beautiful vacation.

Perfection Defined

Literally, the best place we’ve ever stayed up here. The amenities and house are perfect and everything we would need…then add on the breathtaking view!!! We will 100 percent be back!

Anniversary Getaway

This was a fantastic property. Right on the ocean. A nice hike just a short walk away. Away from the hustle of life but not too far from conveniences. The hot tub and fire pit were awesome. We saw sea lions, deer, dolphins and even whales. We hope to return in the future.

Amazing experience

We could not have been happier to have stayed at Puffin's Perch in Fort Bragg. Everything about the place lived up to, or exceeded our expectations. The views are incredible, the hot tub was perfect, and we really enjoyed the town of Fort Bragg and Mendocino too, which was just a short drive away. A few highlights for us, beyond the incredible ocean views, were Sea Glass Beach, Tall Guy brewery and North Coast brewery both in Fort Bragg, The Brickery in Mendocino, and taking the Skunk Train to the Glen Blair Bar.

Adorable little studio with a stunning view. My partner and I loved this place and intend to come back as soon as we can! Waking up to that view is incredible, as is soaking in the hot tub while watching the sunset and/or stars. Kitchen is decently well equipped, cooking at home for a few meals is totally doable with what’s there! There’s a TV and a few other creature comforts in the studio, but I’d highly recommend spending all of your time outside by the fire pit or in the hot tub admiring the view!

Tranquil Escape

This property provided ultimate relaxation and luxury for a tranquil escape along the coast. Thoughtfully outfitted cottage left nothing to want. From the jaw dropping views, to the heated bathroom floors, to the adjustable base bed, and perfectly clean home, I cannot say enough about this thoughtfully appointed home that checked all boxes for comfort and relaxation! I have recommended this property to friends and look forward to booking again soon. Thank you so much for this lovely escape!

A Treasure!

Whether at the chairs on the cliff surrounded by pink ice plant and giant calla lilies, or watching the crashing waves from the cottage - it was spectacular being so close to the ocean. This place continued to surprise us - from the heated bathroom floors, the relaxing spa, the firepit, to the loft upstairs where I found time to read in the rocking chair, this was a perfect way to celebrate our 53rd wedding anniversary. The owner was very hospitable and welcoming. Thank you for sharing your very special heaven on earth with us!

Puffin’s Perch Perfection

If you want a perfect place to stay on the Mendocino Coast it doesn’t get much better than Puffin’s Perch. A great location on the outskirts of Fort Bragg, centrally located between the lovely town of Mendocino to the South and Fort Bragg’s bustling downtown to the North. Puffin’s Perch is a fabulous place for couples to stay. The A frame cottage is spacious with all the amenities you need for a relaxing stay. The view of the crashing waves on the coastal cliffs is breathtaking, especially from the hot tub or deck. My wife and I recently returned to Puffin’s Perch 31 years after our first stay. A lot has changed in those years and we loved it all the more.
