The photo and claim of a private trail to the beach was totally misleading. The trail was short and led to the road. You had to walk the road in the neighborhood about 8 to 10minutes to get to the beach. The flusher for the toilet in the master bath was broken, the house looked as though people started painting the wall, and then just quit. The entire “Pet Policy” was totally conflicting and confusing. Other than that, the house was comfortable and generally a nice place to stay. Loved visiting Depoe Bay, Lincoln City and Newport.

The communication with the proper manger was great. The house was as described.great location. Close to the beach and shops. Pet friendly.

Linens were clean. House was pretty clean and everything worked. Appreciate the coffee pots. Carpet in bedroom with single Murphy bed needs to be cleaned as well as that wall. Unfinished construction is strange, but not a hindrance. Doors don’t stay open in bathrooms. Would be nice to have coat hooks by the door. More paper towels.

We went to have coffee and the coffee filter was still inside and very moldy. There wasn’t trash bags already in the trash cans. We could only find one. There is a spa but it’s locked. Utensils and cups were dirty. The sliding glass door in the master is unfinished. An electrical outlet in the master bedroom does not work. We bought coffee because there wasn’t enough left for us to use. They have a Verismo coffee maker but no pods to use with it. Turned on the shower and brown water came out. Lightbulb out in the bathroom.Now to the Pro’s- beach access is amazing and a nice short walk with no one there. Linens are clean. Neighborhood is quiet and safe.

Would not recommend — inaccurate listing, serious safety concerns, and poor response from managementThis was easily one of the worst vacation rental experiences we’ve had.The property did not match what we reasonably expected from the Vrbo listing. There were holes in the walls, no washer or dryer in a beach house, and no identified outdoor hose or convenient way to rinse off our dog despite the property being advertised as dog-friendly.More concerning was the hot tub. It is prominently visible in the photo of the primary bedroom, although apparently it is not actually an available amenity. When we arrived, it was sitting partially filled with stagnant/brackish water. Beyond being disgusting, an accessible, partially filled hot tub seems like a significant safety hazard for families traveling with young children.The Wi-Fi also did not work. We reported it immediately upon arrival and were told it would be addressed, but no one came to fix it. Cellular service in this part of the Oregon Coast is spotty, so functioning Wi-Fi was particularly important. Within 24 hours, we explained that we needed to leave, particularly given a third-trimester pregnancy and our inability to reliably communicate from the property. Management refused to refund any portion of our stay.The listing also described this as a single-level home, which was not our experience. There is an additional level/area connected through the garage that is locked and inaccessible to renters. We had no info
