Mostly as described. Kitchen was sparse but had the basics. Could’ve used more spices and condiments. mattresses were very firm but there was plenty of pillows. Tucked in the woods with rustic feel.

Very cute cabin with amazing views! Super clean and well stocked with everything you might need. The host was very helpful and welcoming. I highly recommend this spot!

The house was in a very, nice, private location on a quiet road. There are no carpets or throw rugs in the house, so it's a little hard and cold feeling. The beds are very firm and the pillows (memory foam) are huge, heavy bricks - highly recommend bringing a pillow from home. The house appeared clean, but our cat managed to dig a lot of debris out from under furniture and appliances with little effort. And the bugs - ants (big ones) and spiders came out late in the afternoon into the evening so we were killing at least a dozen every day - mostly downstairs, but quite a few upstairs as well. The house was stocked with minimal supplies - no plastic wrap at all, just enough toilet paper to get through the week and a half roll of paper towels, which, when there are no napkins, doesn't last more than a few days. I'm not complaining, I just think this is something people need to know so they know what to expect and bring with them or be prepared to buy on their own. The price was right, but I've stayed in places that cost less and had more.

We stayed here for two nights in July as a family of three. The location is very quiet and private, and the sunsets were beautiful. We also appreciated the large fridge/freezer, ample closet space upstairs, the games, and the smart TV.There were several maintenance and comfort issues. The home felt quite dark, there were no bedside lamps or nightstands, and the dining room light/fan remote was broken, leaving the fan stuck on high with no way to use just the light. The window screens were torn, dirty, and didn't fit properly, so we weren't comfortable leaving the windows open, making the house quite warm during our July stay.Several basic amenities also needed attention. The Brita faucet and refrigerator water dispenser were both broken. The kitchen water pressure was very low, the sliding door wasn't usable, the water pipes made loud tapping noises, and the fire pit didn't work.Cleanliness could also be improved. We found dirty dishes, dirty refrigerator shelves, a dirty sink, and a toilet that wasn't as clean as expected. We also encountered carpenter ants and a few spiders. Hand soap and towels were limited.Just before our stay, a bear had gotten into the outdoor trash can, so there wasn't really a place to dispose of our trash when we checked out.The peaceful setting is wonderful, but better maintenance, cleanliness, and attention to basic amenities would make this a much more comfortable stay.

The property is quiet, has nice views, and is a good spot for small getaways with a pet, but it is also pretty bare bones in terms of what is provided for you and there are many aspects of the property that are damaged or not working. For example, we had issues with a ceiling fan, the propane tank, ice/water machine on fridge, the door stop on the screen door, window screens had large holes, and the sliding glass door cannot be fully closed or locked and is duct taped shut. All of these things we were fine with and willing to look past; since the price was so low we figured we were getting what we paid for. However, after leaving the property the owner claimed that we broke their front door handle and forced us to pay for the damages. The door handle pulled out a little when I closed the door once, but I figured since it seemed to already be like that and there were so many other small issues like it with the property, that this was no big deal. Also, I figured since all I did was close the door normally and it broke, that it must have already been broken or ready to break. Apparently, since I did not report this to the owner, I am liable for the damage. In short, I would say you get what you pay for here, but what you pay for is a house of cards that may fall apart by simply closing a door. If you do rent this property, be prepared to notify the owner of every little issue you encounter to not get charged for it after the fact.

We spent very little time at home on this trip so the lodging was a perfect fit. It is nestled in the trees and had a nice deck for when we sat outside at the end of the day. We would definitely rent it again
