Blue Cabin in Idaho Springs

This cabin is the perfect spot to rest after a day in the mountains! The main floor living room and kitchen are fully stocked, but please note that the fridge is a mini fridge. The upstairs loft is outfitted with a queen bed and a queen size pull-out sofa. The basement has a bunk bed!

One thing to note: our valley location limits our access to internet, so cell signal, WiFi and cable can be slow or non-existent at times. We recommend planning to be off-the-grid in case this happens during your stay! There is a DVD player :)

It is right off the main road so I didn’t enjoy that but the house itself was wonderful. Great for a stop but not a long stay

This was a nice and clean place to stay. It is located close to the road to Mt. Blue Sky. We were unable to have internet, or cell service; however, the cabin is only 4 miles to Idaho Springs so when we needed service we drove into Idaho Springs. We enjoyed our stay and would recommend it.

Clean pretty property, wifi was spotty, with not much service, and theres no a/c. Being in the mountains it was a nice break from being constantly "connected". Aside from one day, we were able to open the windows and it cooled off after the first day which had higher than normal temps.

The instructions to check in were clear and the place was super clean. I took a screenshot of the listing since it said there is no service so I recommend doing that. The kitchen is stocked with pots and plates and we enjoyed the board games they had as well. I would definitely recommend this place and would love to stay again.

We absolutely loved this charming cabin. It was very clean and well maintained. The location was perfect for us. We would stay here again and wish we had a few more days in the area. The reindeer was so cute!

Conveniently located near Idaho Springs and within a quick drive to many things to do! The space itself was comfortable, clean, and had thoughtful touches. Highly recommend this place whether you are staying a night or several and exploring the great Rockies!

The cabin was clean, well maintained, and had everything we needed for our stay. However, there are a few things I wish we had known before booking, as none of the reviews we read mentioned them.First, there is essentially no cell service at the cabin. If you're staying here, be sure to take screenshots of the check-in instructions, Wi-Fi network name, and password before you arrive. Otherwise, you'll have to drive back toward Idaho Springs to get enough service to access the VRBO app. It would also be very helpful if the Wi-Fi information was included in the cabin's welcome book instead of only in the app.The Wi-Fi worked when we checked in but stopped working the following morning, which made things even more challenging without cell service.If anyone in your group has difficulty with stairs, keep the layout in mind. There is one bedroom in the basement and another on the second floor, while the only bathroom is on the main level.We also found the upstairs mattress to be extremely firm and not comfortable for us, although we know mattress comfort is a matter of personal preference.The cabin provides a coffee maker and coffee pods, which was appreciated. It would be a nice added touch to include a few packets of sugar and creamer for guests.Overall, the cabin was clean and in a beautiful location, but because of the lack of cell service, the Wi-Fi issues, the layout, and the very firm upstairs bed, we wouldn't choose to stay here again. I hope this review helps.

Overall, our stay was pretty good. It was spacious and affordable. We were discouraged to find a heap of dirty towels in the bathroom and two full bags of tied trash that had not been taken out. There were also some chip crumbs on the floor in the basement. Had it been clean, it would have been a more enjoyable stay.

This was a great location and only 1/4 mile from the wedding venue we were coming for. The space is very small, and not a lot of your typical niceties, i.e. an iron, but it was super cute and fit our needs well. The only issues we found were the Wi-Fi connection was very weak and was difficult to get anything to come up. In addition, on the day we were scheduled to leave, the power company informed us that the power was going to be shut off all day in order to replace a transformer behind the house. Luckily, it didn't happen the day before when we were supposed to be getting ready for a wedding. We were gone before the power got shut off, so it didn't create a hardship.

Beautiful and cozy! Zero service and the internet did not work. It was fine and we would just use internet to look stuff up when we went to town. We weren’t bothered by no internet, just did not expect that. The place was super cute and convenient to town and other places to visit. Overall we loved it!
