Beautiful condo with an amazing ocean view . The ease of going back and forth to the beach and the pool was perfect! The staff was so helpful and kind . We had the perfect vacation . We can’t wait to go back again .

Great location--somewhat out of the mainstream traffic area. Excellent beach access--convenient and perfect for strolling.

Perfect Location

Great apartment, well appointed with lots of room and an amazing beach view. Will definitely be booking this one again.

The condo was nice, clean and just the right size for us. Office staff was very friendly and accommodating.

Wonderful family weekend

It was great to have lounge chairs on the beach and the office gave us an extra umbrella to use. All complimentary!

Great location of condo

Nice walk to beach! Great view! Beds were comfy. The only thing I would say it was thick, thick dust on the doorframe between the ceiling and the door frame going into the laundry room. Other than that, I think it was kept well and looked as nice as it did in the pictures. Well located. And just a couple steps from the beach We would definitely rent this next year. We come down first week in August every year.

Our room had a musty smell The complex was fairly empty which was nice but given that it was disappointing that there were workers banging outside our room. I feel like they could have easily avoided our rooms until we were gone. Otherwise I think it would benefit guests knowing personal items in each condo. After booked something could be sent saying pool toys, beach towels each wagon etc. Good for those guests coming from out of town and for planning purposes

Memorial Day 2024

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: My husband and I have been reserving 2 rooms every year for about the last 8 years. Along with family members that reserved 5 additional rooms. We have reserved room 105 & 106 for the last few years. We have had a wonderful time always. This year we were extremely disappointed regarding the landscaping disaster that surprised us. Not even an email advising anyone about what to expect. We had dirt to walk through and were told to walk through the mulch. That was impossible when coming in and out to the beach or pool. This was a terrible decision on management’s part. We received emails wanting payment a month in advance but nothing regarding this disaster. There wasn’t even a broom available in either room to be able to sweep the floor. I had to use a wet towel to try to clean the floor. There wasn’t even an attempt to make the mess better by putting a walk way over part of the dirt. Very disappointed and I’m sure there will be many negative comments made. The whole situation was handled badly. Then to add to the disappointment is that the sink in 105 fell and wasn’t seen until after office closed. I had to use bathroom sink. Another issue is that I read in the information packet asks that when leaving pick up towels and strip beds. Yet we’re getting charged $195 for cleaning. Bottom line is this year was disappointing and blame management for poor timing and lack of notice! We have always enjoyed our stay and have reserved for 2025. We hope management learns from this. My review is related to 2024.

We are so glad that you have returned to Sand Cay every year for 8 years to reunite with family! We are all about making memories, and the fact that you return year after year definitely say’s a lot about our beautiful resort. We are so very sorry for the inconvenience with the sod being replaced while you were staying here with us. Your comfort is always key while you are our guest! Unfortunately, as a resort, we are a business that never closes, and as management, we are constantly updating the property to keep it pristine for our guests. This property update did not affect the front entrance of your unit, so you and your family were still able to come and go as you wanted with no issue. We have concrete paths that lead to every door entrance on our property. If there is ever a time while staying here with us that your unit is missing something such as a broom and dustpan let the office know about it and we will be sure to provide you with one. The kitchen sink was repaired as soon as possible, and we thank you for reporting this unforeseen issue. See you in 2025 Sand Cay Beach Resort
