Comfort,quiet and a short walk to the beach!

This home has everything you are looking for and need! We loved the open feeling of the home, the comfortable beds, sitting in the sun on the west facing deck and watching the sunset. It was clean and the neighborhood very quiet. We felt we were the only people in the area. Loved it.

Lovely property

The property is in a great location - walking distance to the beach and close to exploring the Astoria area. Well equipped house and lovely deck overlooking a large yard. Path to the beach right next to the property.

Great house, short walk to beach

Everything was great for our stay! The house had everything we needed. It's a short walk to a huge sparsely-populated beach. The house is halfway between Seaside and Astoria, so very convenient to both towns. We look forward to visiting here again!

Wonderful coastal getaway

This rental property is in a gated community that felt very safe and private. We absolutely loved being able to walk to the beach from the house. This place had all of the amenities and was very comfortable for our group. Highly recommend.

Lovely comfortable home

This beautiful house has everything you need for your stay from shampoo to beach toys to board games for all ages. Very comfortable beds, lots of towels for 4 adults and 3 kids. Even the dog didn’t want to leave!

Beautiful with a lot of amenities

My family stayed over the weekend for my mom’s 70th birthday. We have two small kids who loved the house, the proximity to the beach and the yard. My mom loved her mermaid room and my husband and I loved our upstairs master bedroom with a balcony. So relaxing and the bed was like a cloud. The kitchen was stocked with all the tools you need to cook a nice meal. The bathrooms were clean and had soap and shampoo and conditioner. Lots of linens and extra pillows! I gave 4 stars instead of 5 bc during our second day there, a gardener came with a mower and woke us a up from nap mowing the very large back lawn. Seemed like strange timing. Overall it was a beautiful stay in a nice clean, well stocked home.

Wonderful coastal retreat!

We stayed with our 1 and 3 year old and it was such a fun family adventure. Had everything we needed at the house and were able to take full adventure of the seemingly private endless beach. It was a little hike from the house but the kids (and pup) loved it. Saw whooly bears and plenty of bugs along the way to keep them busy. Super fun bunk room for the kiddos!

Astoria PCH road-trip

This is an ideal location if you have kids/dogs. It is close to multiple towns and has direct access to a beautiful beach. We had a fantastic time! Thank you!!

Great cottage in an amazing location

We enjoyed our time at the home. Excellent location with a trail straight to the beach. Home was well stocked with everything we needed. Communication with the host was great.

Private Quiet Oceanfront Escape

This area of the coast has large dunes from the homes to the beach. It’s much quieter than other areas. Beautiful long beaches. The house is comfortable, clean and everything you need is provided. We found all of the furniture very comfortable and welcoming. I was a bit concerned because it is a pet friendly rental but that didn’t seem to be an issue. The flooring and sofa look new. We would stay here again.

Beach House

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay! The location is amazing and the house had everything we needed and was very cozy. It could use a little TLC like removing carpet, but for a house right on the ocean that allows dogs, I would expect it to be a bit worn. I love places that allow me to bring my pups so it was perfect for us! I would definitely consider staying there again.

Enjoyable Stay with minor issues

The house could use some TLC. Didn't appear that cleaning staff had been there prior to our visit. All sliding screen doors were constantly coming off track. No towels in upstairs bathroom. We found them in dryer and were still damp. In both showers, it was very hard to turn on water. FYI, you have to pull VERY hard on the lever. Both decks are very weather worn. We decided to not use upstairs deck for fear of splinters. Since bocce ball was mentioned in the house description, we had hoped to play. We could not find balls anywhere, they were not in garage. After looking at the bocce field, the sand had a large divot down the middle. So, I doubt we would have been able to play anyway. The house was roomy and provided for all our basic needs. The living room sofa was very comfortable for all of us. The kitchen was fine and had everything we needed. A big plus, was the large yard. We all really enjoyed playing horse shoes and walking to the beach. There were lots of board games and puzzles and the grandkids really loved that.

Spacious and very clean house

We took the kids and the grandkids to the Oregon coast for a short, four day vacation. The grandkids loved the variety of games and toys that were there and had a great time. There were several really good seafood restaurants and shopping very close by in Astoria and Seaside that we enjoyed. My only issue was the beach was a bit of a hike for grandma (Me). There was hardly anyone at the beach, and the two dogs had a wonderful time running to their hearts delight.

great house and location

We came to celebrate some birthdays and thoroughly enjoyed our stay! We had 4 teens with us and everyone was comfortable. Wonderful location and loved the proximity to the beach. Would stay again!

Comfortable cute house

Bedroom layout was perfect for our party of 7 (2 adults and 5 teens) and our puppy liked it too! Walking distance to beach but weather was cool cloudy so we drove to Seaside for fun.

Great beach getaway

Super cute house just minutes walk away from an amazing beach. Plenty of things to do with the family and was dog friendly. Loved that we can hear the waves of the ocean and was right next to the well kept trail to the beach. The only negative thing I had about the house was that the outdoor BBQ grill was completely dirty and no propane. Other then that, we will definitely be coming back, thank you for an amazing vacation! -Molly

We purchased this home because we fell in love the MOMENT we saw it. The private walk to the beach, cozy fireplace, and large lawn for games and activities drew our family to the Oregon Coast. Being in a gated community, we felt safe with our children.

We love that it is close to everything! We enjoy taking our kids to Seaside and enjoying the tourist town with a carousel, good restaurants, and boardwalk. Historic Astoria and Fort Stevens make for a great afternoon outing or day trip!

The home has been recently remodeled and its truly a retreat that we hope you enjoy!

It isn't in the downtown area, but its better! Being in a gated quiet community, you get the beach, the fun the peace, while the downtown hustle and bustle still only a few minutes away.
