This charming 850 sq ft seasonal cottage blends rustic character with modern conveniences. Enjoy a morning coffee in the screened in gazebo overlooking the water and spend your evenings around the fire pit steaming clams and cooking lobster. Relax by the water and enjoy watching local lobstermen hauling their traps or the sailboat regattas making their way around Long Island.

A lovely cottage in a beautiful spot. Well appointed with lovely design features. Close to Blue Hill with its excellent food coop, a super market a two good restaurants.

The house was perfect for us! It is very close to the water with a comfortable place to sit and just look. The house had everything we needed and was located very conveniently between Blue Hill and Stonington.

Such an absolutely serene property. Close to all the things we wanted to do, but at the of the day it was such a peaceful retreat. Very clean, the cottage is nicely appointed with all amenities and is spacious enough to really relax. Such beautiful views. Gary is an excellent host and it was such a pleasure working with him. Recommend the experience 100%.

What a wonderful little gem snuggled in on Blue Hill Bay. The view of the bay is peaceful all day long. We saw many seals and eagles right from the deck. We enjoyed the sunrises and watching the lobster boat crews put out and pull in their traps. This is an excellent home base cottage if you want to explore Acadia and other fantastic locations all within an hour drive. We did day trips and were always back in time to take a nap then enjoy relaxing by the bay. It’s truly a magical little place. Rebecca and Gary are very welcoming, friendly, communicative and helpful.Would love to do it all again!

This cottage is gorgeous, it was spotless when we arrived and the hosts were so welcoming and helpful. It was a wonderful stay and we hope to return in the future.

Although our stay was only 3 nights, we had a fantastic time at the private waterfront cottage, Raven’s Nest. We especially enjoyed taking advantage of the outdoor spaces and eating areas. It was so relaxing sitting outside-the water views are exceptional and it is so peaceful and calm there. The deck is a fabulous place to view the sunrise or to star gaze!Gary, our gracious host was accessible and knowledgeable. While new to the area he pointed us to great eating establishments, as well as the nearby organic market, unique shops, sightseeing, and hiking trails. It was nice to come back after a day of hiking and just relax on the deck. We highly recommend Raven’s Nest and hope to return someday. We reflected, renewed and recharged by the sparkling water.

An incredibly beautiful location with a lovely clean and well-appointed cottage. The Knoxes were accommodating and friendly. We explored the Blue Hill peninsula and came back to enjoy the wonderful view from the cottage.

Wonderful Stay!

The cottage and its location were both perfect for our stay. The cottage was perfectly clean and comfortable and with views from inside and on the deck or lawn that we loved. Carol and Leslie were very easy to communicate with and were very helpful when we arrived. We recommend the cottage to all!

Beautiful restful location

Amazing sunrises. Even though there was a nearby cabin, it was always peaceful. Most facilities were very good. The owner was helpful whenever needed. Perfect location near a lovely town.

Gorgeous location and friendly hosts

This is a very well appointed property in a gorgeous location, with direct ocean access. In addition to eating dinner on the deck, guests can use 2 kayaks to go exploring.

The cottage was wonderful. We enjoyed watching the seals, eagle, and boats from the deck. The area was very tranquil and was the perfect location for our exploration of the area.The hosts, Carol and Leslie were very cordial and welcoming. They definitely deserve the super host rating!

Blue Hill cottage

Location and setting (and weather!) were perfect. Had a lot of fun paddling around on the kayaks and watching the seals, loons, cormorants, jumping fish and the occasional porpoise.

Simply paradise

I've been vacationing in Maine with my family for my whole life and it truly is vacationland. The Raven's Nest is a beautiful cottage with full amenities and unbeatable location. I look forward to staying there again next year and the years to come.
