Mira Bella South - 1BR Tiny Home in Lake Helen

Tiny Home with full kitchen on a peaceful 13 acres in a small town. Owner lives on the same property, but the tiny home is away from the main house so it is private. Ideal for 2 guests, but there is a pull-out sofa which could be comfortable for one more adult or a couple kids.

There is room for more than one car or a trailer.
Motorcycles welcome :)

(Not suitable for 4-legged travelers due to free ranging ducks, peacocks and close proximity to horses and miniature donkeys)

There is a pergola in front of the tiny home by the meadow where there are feed buckets on the fence and there are horse treats left in the kitchen so you can interact with the horses and mini-donkeys. There are also treats left for the ducks so you can feed them as well.

WHEELCHAIR ACCESSIBILITY
I had to fill out yes/no questions as to wheelchair accessibility and I'm not sure if I answered correctly. The tiny home is on a single floor and there is no step up from the parking area. There is one small about 1-inch step onto the deck. But the parking area is gravel and grass and I don't know if that is really accessible or not? Just so you are aware. Please look at the photos.

This location was absolutely beautiful. I truly enjoyed the country feel. All the little details made it feel like home, even so much as the thoughtfulness of coffee creamer in the fridge and ice trays with ice, ready to go for a drink. They are a very thoughtful and kind host. I will definitely return and recommend to anyone looking for peace and tranquillity!

The home was very clean, cozy and had everything we needed. The grounds were immaculate. It was a very peaceful setting. We enjoyed our stay very much. The host was very thoughtful and quick to respond to any needs. The informational notebook was also very helpful. We enjoyed visiting with the animals on the property. We would definitely stay here again.

This charming rental was the perfect base for all your activities in the area. The farm animals were fun. I enjoyed feeding them and walking around the lake.

From the time you meander down the driveway in greeted by the pony donkeys and the horse along with the plethora of birds, then you step into the cutest little tiny house right on the pond. It’s adorable everything you need is at your fingertips. Highly recommend host was awesome.

Loved this tiny home so much. When we walked in the fireplace was on, and it was so welcoming. It was perfect for my husband and me. The setting is probably the best part. The horses, donkeys, geese, ducks and peacocks roaming the beautiful property always gives you something to see! We are planning our next trip back.

I’m so glad I found this place. It’s a perfect location— close enough to get to Daytona easily, but it’s a peaceful and quiet country paradise to relax at the end of the day. The host is thoughtful and responds immediately and the place was spotless with everything you could possibly need. An easy 5 stars, and I’d give it a 6th for being able to view the rocket launches if they’d let me. The donkey and ducks deserve a few stars too.

Hidden Gem in “old Florida.” Perfect for two or 1 like me, but also a pull out couch for kiddos. Host is very nice and thought of everything you may need right down to a blow dryer. Soothing music was playing when I arrived as well as a lovely electric fireplace. Lovely setting as well with a pond and ducks and geese and horses. Close drive to beaches and Disney. No complaints here. I will definitely book again.

I have been hosting on that other site since around 2018 and really like it. I started off with a camper and then switched that out for two tiny homes and it has really been a great experience. Since I am new to VRBO if you want to see reviews for me you can check for Mira Bella on that other site.

Por qué eligió esta propiedad

The whole town of Lake Helen is not really much bigger than "a neighborhood." Our town is small, and we have no red light. Sometimes people ride their horses or golf carts through town. It's great. And while small and relaxed we're just a few miles from "everything" and just an hour from Disney or a half-hour from the beach.

Qué distingue a esta propiedad

My property is surrounded on all sides by hedges and trees. You can only really see one neighbor's house. I spent lockdown during covid planting things in my yard and I really love it. I have ducks, geese, chickens, and peacocks that roam around freely. And next to the tiny home is the meadow where Red, Cookie, Rosie and Stormy live. They like to come check out the guests - particularly because I leave treats for them on the kitchen counter.

Another thing that makes this property unique is who first built the main house on the property. Maurice Starr and his most-famous band, The New Kids on the Block, lived here back in the late 80s.
