The property was just what we needed for our high school anglers to prepare for their fishing tournament on Old Hickory Lake. Everything was exactly as described and in working order. If we have to fish Old Hickory again I hope to stay here again as well.

Making memories

We had all the grandparents, grandbabies and grown kids under one roof. There was a great view from the deck, a good kitchen, hot showers and comfy beds. We had a wonderful time.

Family Vacation 2025

Clean comfortable house. Kellie and Chip are outstanding host! We rented a very nice pontoon boat from Chip which he kindly parked at the dock and provided whatever we needed. It was a great week!

Overall we enjoyed our stay. I would recommend you let people know to bring hangers, since there weren't any in the closets. Also, since there is no door to the downstairs corner bedroom, it would be nice to at least have some type of curtain to close if off for privacy. We had a really great time, and appreciated your quick responses to questions. Thank you!

Amazing location/stay

My sisters and I stayed here with a group of friends and it was AMAZING. The house is stunning and great for a decent amount of people. It was right on the lake in a calmer area and we absolutely loved the dock. It was a great weekend and Melissa did a great job checking in and making sure the stay was great! Recommending this place to everyone!

Great place for our family!

We were in Nashville for a wedding and this place was perfect. Short drive to downtown. We are already talking about going back in the summer to enjoy the lake and outdoor space more. Thanks Kellie for having us!

Beautiful spot on the lake

We stayed over the Thanksgiving holiday. The house was very roomy with plenty of space for us to spread out. The kitchen was well-equipped and had a beautiful view of the lake. It was a nice property in a great neighborhood.

Thanksgiving Holiday

We used this as a meeting point for our Thanksgiving holiday. The location it was a great location, view was amazing. The decor could be a bit updated and maybe add some rugs to accommodate the different thresholds throughout (wouldn’t want anyone to trip) :)

Perfect location and great owner!

This house was ideal for our family vacation to Old Hickory Lake. The photos and listing were accurate, house was very clean, and provided us with everything we needed. The dock was in amazing shape in a great location on the lake with a quiet, calm cove. The owners were super responsive and helpful with anything we needed before or during our stay. It was honestly perfect for us and we're already planning on staying here again! Would highly recommend this property.

Great home with beautiful views

The owners were very helpful in answering our questions before we arrived. The house was perfect, lots of room and beautiful views of the lake. Too bad it was too cold as the lake and pontoon boat was very appealing. Great time

Beautiful view / great house

Very nice place. Great view. My grandfather could not get to the kitchen due to being in a wheelchair but he had plenty of room to be with the family in the down stairs. Plenty of sleeping for a larger group.

Best one yet

The whole property was beautiful, well Kept, had all the necessary amenities and dishes necessary. The view was the best thing to wake up to every day. We fit our whole group comfortably, and has plenty of blankets. The beds were Comfortable, and the property manager was so sweet, and accomadating. I would definitely stay here again.

Family Vacation

The size of the property and the fact that it has three full baths make it ideal for a family gathering. Its location is central to shopping and downtown which we did both. The host was very accommodating and quick with responses. We had a power outage, and she went out of her way and brought us ice and flashlights. Housekeeping could be improved and the deck furniture cushions and living room furniture should be updated. The dock appeared to be recently updated and was very nice although the steps going down to it are steep.

Wedding family stay

We stayed here for our daughter’s wedding that was at a venue 20 minutes away. Plenty of room for us, our adult children their kids 9 & 6 and a set of grand parents. And our 19 & 20 year old. 10 of us total. Plenty of beds for everyone. We did have a service animal also and we let owners know she was coming since I read a review someone was charged a fee. That was not the case for us. If you read that review it was not due to the animal. Kellie was quick to respond to any questions we had. View of lake was beautiful and deck and dock were nice to enjoy. We would definitely stay here again.

Plenty of room

Comfortable spaces for our large group to spread out. Sun room was good for teenagers but no insulation or central air. Though we couldn’t all eat together inside or out. Great opportunity to rent motor boat or kayaks from hosts but we also brought a lot of floats, life vests, beach towels, coolers, etc of our own since none there. Close to two foot sandbar hangout. Outdoor grill was nice. Not too far from grocery store or restaurants. Plenty of parking. Lots of steps from house to water - not for anyone with mobility issues. Great view from deck. Used the fire pit for s’mores and brought and end table down from deck but opted to sit on stairs or grass than lug chairs up and down.

Wonderful House, Highly Recommended It!

The house was Fantastic! There were 8 Ladies in our group and we had plenty of space. The house was clean, comfortable and the décor was lovely. The lake view was beautiful and so relaxing; the Master Bedroom was Fabulous with a Great view. The beautiful large deck was great for our morning coffee and for grilling out in the evening. The stairs to the Lake are very steep but worth the climb especially if you like to fish. The Owner Chip is a really Cool Guy and was so helpful; he even took us for a ride on one of the boats and told us the history of the lake which we really enjoyed. Also the property manager Melissa was so nice and helpful. Mount Juliet is a lovely Town and convenient to shopping, restaurants and downtown Nashville. I have already recommended the house to some of my friends and co-workers and planning to return.

Awesome find

This place was fabulous! The house is finished and decorated beautifully, and the view of the water and grounds is so relaxing. There was plenty of space for everyone to have their own private bedroom with 5 couples staying. It accommodates more guests, great if you have kids you want to bunk together. The website pictures don't do the actual property justice! The neighborhood is quiet and very safe, and only 20 minutes to downtown Nashville. The owner Chip is wonderful...great Southern hospitality. He let us use the paddle boat whenever we wanted, and took us on a tour of the lake on his pontoon boat. He's got enormous positive energy, great sense of humor, lots of fascinating stories, "and some of them are even true!". He' s there if you need him, but leaves you your privacy and space if you don't. I want to go back!!

It was perfect for what we needed. The photos of the inside were exactly as is. Lots of beds, sleeps a large family comfortably. Three bathrooms were very handy. View of the lake was awesome! We had a great weekend!
