Welcome to our home, perfectly located to make your visit easy and enjoyable. Just two blocks from Texas Tech and Broadway, you'll be close to everything Lubbock has to offer. It's also only a 20 minute drive to what the locals call
"The Ribeye in the Sky." 13 minutes from Lubbock airport! This home has been completely remodeled from top to bottom with great care and pride by my son, girlfriend and me. We're excited to share it with you and hope it feels like a comfortable home away from home

The pictures don’t accurately represent the actual condition of this place. The two twin bedroom and 2nd bathroom are actually in an unventilated basement with some dangerous stairs leading to it. The egress door in the basement is screwed shut. The hot and cold water are reversed on every faucet. Water pressure at the faucets is low. Showers were actually good but hard to keep from getting too hot. The beds were comfortable. The floor tiles in the main bathroom are loose and there are still spacers in between some of them. Under the laminate floor there are some places that feel like the subfloor is either missing or very soft. During our stay the septic system was either overflowing or backing up so we had raw sewage coming out of the pipe in the backyard. The host was responsive to most messages immediately but when I brought up the more serious issues it took some time for him to respond. I requested a partial refund and am still waiting for an answer from the host. The stove only had 2/4 burners that worked and the microwave was missing the glass turntable. The washing machine had hot and cold mixed up. The dryer began squealing like a belt was bad or a bearing went out. The host offered to send someone to fix it but due to us leaving the next day we declined. I would avoid this property and definitely do not recommend until several issues are addressed.

The pictures are misleading and a few are AI generated. The house does not look as charming as it does in the pictures. The twin room is in a basement and both beds are crammed into each other. Family had to sleep on the couch because they could not make it down the narrow stairs which were not clearly visible in any of the pictures.Pros1. Plenty of room for a large family2. Only a few minute drive to Texas Tech and hospitals.Cons1. Not in a desirable neighborhood 2. As mentioned the pictures are AI generated and misleading.3. Some sinks did not have hot water but the showers will burn you.4. Initially the host was responsive but when I needed an answer it took him 18hrs to respond. 5. We had an event and was unable to lock the door so had to leave our belongings in an unsecure home.
