2 Bedroom, walk on waterfront cottage, fully furnished, open floor plan, hot tub, parking, BBQ, year round accommodation located 10 minutes from the Comox Airport and 15 minutes from downtown Courtenay and Comox shopping. Built in 2012, modern, with TV, DVD, internet and wi-fi. Watch the ocean from the front patio with cruise ships passing by and all the wildlife the Comox Valley has to offer. Bates Beach is close by with boat rentals, boat launch and fishing opportunities. Mount Washington ski and recreation resort is 45 minutes away. Centrally located on Vancouver Island in the heart of recreation and culture with many possibilities close at hand.
The cottage also offers full laundry facilities, outside shower, wood burning fireplace/stove, the ocean facing bedroom has one queen bed, the second bedroom has 2 single beds. patio furniture and a kitchen with all appliances and utensils necessary to make your stay a pleasant one.
PLEASE NOTE base rental rate quoted is for 2 guests. There is an additional charge for each guest (including children) beyond 2.

We had a great peaceful, relaxing vacation at the cottage. It’s so well appointed and comfortable with everything you could possibly need. The directions, check-in and communication with our host were excellent. The oceanfront view is amazing. We were lucky enough to see whales, seals and many lovely birds. We were very fortunate the weather was beautiful for exploring the Comox area.

Comox Family Connection

The view was amazing! When the tide is out there are great patches of sand to enjoy with the kids. We had family from Comox come to visit who didn't even know this little gem exited.

Perfect place to recharge

Spent 4 nights here and this location is unbelievable. Right at the water! We watched all kinds of wildlife from the hot tub, spent tons of time on our paddleboards with easy water access Quiet and honestly just amazing.

Peace and Quiet

We had an awesome stay at this VRBO. It was very quiet and peaceful which is just what we wanted. The cottage was as advertised and the view was amazing.

Cozy oceanfront cabin

Perfect little cabin for our family. It was a nice safe place for our kids to run around and explore. It would be great if there was a fence, trees or something to create a bit more privacy between the two cabins, We would love to book again!

Quiet get away

We stayed here during our winter break. The cabin was cozy and impeccably clean. The view was incredible and we really enjoyed the hot tub over looking the beach.

Beautiful Place

This quaint little cottage right on the ocean was just what we were looking for. Owner and Property Manager were both very helpful. Highly recommend and can’t wait to return.

Would definitely stay here again

My husband and I together with my elderly parents stayed at this delightful cottage for a week. The cottage is located in a friendly, quiet neighbourhood close to walking trails and the beach. Everything was clean and all the essentials were provided. We had an issue with the wifi on day 4 and the owners were quick to remedy the problem. We couldn’t have enjoyed more.

Great views of the Straight.

Property is in a great location, little hard to find initially. Our only knock is the beds in the room with 2 singles, they could be more comfortable.

Just What The Dr Ordered

What a wonderful place! It is so cozy and is right on the ocean front making for a lovely, relaxing vacation. It is close to parks, beaches and wineries, and also...the views from the cabin are incredible! Can't beat it. The hosts were very friendly and communication was easy and efficient. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and will be coming here again.

Lovely time at bates beach

The cabin was perfect for our needs and we very much enjoyed our stay. The accomdation was as listed and had all the amenities we needed to enjoy a week at the beach. Beautiful view of herons and seals and at night time we even heard whales, magical. Will deffinetly be back .

Heaven

There is a very peaceful vibe to this property. Our days were determined by the tides and the calls and songs of several different birds. We sat on the chairs and stared at the ocean. The cottage has all you may need. It was spotless and communication with Rosalie was super easy. Book it!

Great getaway experience!

We booked this location based on it's proximity to the ocean. We didn't realize how stunning it was going to be! Relaxing in the hot tub watching the waves crash and seals and birds frolic was exactly what we were looking for. The accommodations were clean and comfortable, we had no complaints whatsoever.

Heaven

Our two weeks at this cottage were heaven. It is so wonderful to watch the ever changing sea, the birds, and sea mammals. A provincial park and a nature preserve are nearby for peaceful forest walks. The cottage itself has all the amenities one could want. We love it!

We have lived in the Comox Valley most of our lives and owned this property since the early 1960's. In 2012 the cottage was rebuilt from the foundation up so it is new, modern, comfortable and a great place to relax and unwind. We wanted to share it's beauty.
