The Cabin Retreat offers you the opportunity to settle in, relax and delight in the beauty and comfort that this cozy home-away-from-home provides. Located on over 17 acres, the cedar and pine cabin is more than 1700 s.f. and consists of a master bedroom, guest bedroom, loft bedroom and living/dining/kitchen area. There are also two bathrooms featuring shower and bath/shower.

The Cabin Retreat is great for small groups and family gatherings with an additional cottage space available on the property that can sleep 6 to 8+ people. The Cabin Retreat can sleep 8 to 10 people with full kitchen and two baths.

On those cooler nights, a wood-burning fireplace is available in The Cabin Retreat... and everything is ready for you to cozy up to a warm and inviting fire.

The Cabin Retreat sits atop a small hill that overlooks the gently-rolling landscape with beautiful trees, foliage and a hewn-stone fountain. A short walk along wooded trails leads you to Lost Creek which runs along a portion of the property. Take time for a leisurely stroll to the creek through the wooded trail and enjoy the quiet natural surroundings of this beautiful place.

All of this natural beauty and quiet forest is yours to enjoy while you are only minutes away from all of the events and attractions that Hot Springs provides.

At the time of your booking, let us know that you would like these services and they will be scheduled for you during your stay. This place was awesome! We are outdoors and rustic setting people and animal lovers! The house was stocked with fruit and food beyond our many travel experiences with VRBO! Amazing!

This is a perfect place for a weekend romantic getaway. There's a spa a1 minute walk away, and the masseuses are amazing and very detailed. We enjoyed sitting bt the fire pit as well. The amenities are so nice that its a little overwhelming. You kind of feel bad using anything haha. I could go on all day about this place. Just book it, you wont regret it.

Warm and cozy

This was a wonderful experience. I took my daughter and her best friend. We all loved it. We loved the smell and the music playing. It was so warm and lovely, and I loved that they had already prebuilt the fire.

Everything was as described and more!!!! Way more amenities provided than in the descriptions. Secluded, quiet, comfortable, close to Hot Springs. Highly recommend!!

Owner scared us to death late at night.

Overall we were pleased with the cabin. Having the owner late at night, run across the yard with a flashlight, and then come to the back door scared us women to death. We spent a very sleepless night after that, and wish that we had not been startled and fearful on our last night there. It sincerely ruined the stay. Would not recommend for women staying alone.

A Serene Stay

We rented this cabin for a quick trip to Hot Springs for a wedding. It exceeded all our expectations! After the craziness of trying to get out of town and the kids crying/fighting most of the way there- I actually felt loved by the host’s special treats, burning candles, and music upon arrival. Only to find that the pantry, kitchen, and laundry were fully stocked for our stay. No other rental has ever gone so far above & beyond to make our stay so relaxing and carefree. It felt like coming home to Grandma’s house for the weekend. These people are in the right line of business! The only issue we had was that the downstairs shower was not functioning, which put us down to one tiny bathroom in the loft. We were so busy with wedding events that I didn’t even have time to report the issue though so really it can’t be counted against anyone. Also if you have small kids with you up in the loft and you sleep in the master bedroom directly below, be warned there’s nothing but boards between you. Sleep will not be easy. I would absolutely stay here again- but without kids and I would make sure the bathrooms are working prior to arrival. Still highly recommend.

Perfect Girls Weekend Getaway

This cabin was just what us four girls needed to getaway and get recharged, Jennifer is an excellent communicator and was just a quick text away. Book the spa services!! They were excellent! We can’t wait to go back next year!

Peaceful retreat

We had a wonderful time. The cabin was very relaxing. We loved the style of the cabin. Our host communicated well and was available for questions. It was an easy drive to Hot Springs. We hope to stay at the cabin again one day.

Beautiful and peaceful

The house was absolutely spotless, with so many thoughtful extra touches. Everything we needed for breakfast was in the fridge, fresh fruit on the counter. We loved sitting on the front porch swing and watching the birds. Very quiet, we enjoyed walking around the property, and a campfire our last night there. Absolutely the best place we have ever stayed.

Girls trip/total eclipse

We had a sisters and nieces get away to see the total eclipse and visit our old stomping ground. Our parents use to have a lake home on Lake Hamilton. We would vacation during the winter in Hot Springs. It had been over 30 years since we had the lake home. It was a wonderful trip and our VRBO was fabulous. Would stay there again and highly recommend this cabin. Our host Evan was wonderful as well.

Massages are THE BEST

Beautiful area to relax. House has everything you didn't think to bring. They have really thought of you first. Do not miss getting a massage from Jennifer and her staff. They are awesome!

Perfect cabin retreat

This is by far the best VRBO I have ever stayed in!! From the Nora Jones CD playing upon our arrival to the bottle of wine and cheese in the fridge, this couple knows how to make your stay enjoyable. They have thought of everything for everyone!! Fruit bowl, sugar free and organic condiments, the best soaps, fans, games, movies and books galore! We stayed here for a Mom and daughters girl trip and could have just stayed in the cabin the entire time and would've been perfectly happy. It is very secluded and out of the city but it is only 15-20 minutes to Oaklawn and all of the great restaurants Hot Springs has to offer. We also enjoyed watching the deer every morning in the front yard! If you're looking for a wonderful family or couples retreat stay here!!! You wont regret it!!

Perfect Stay!

Amazingly clean and comfy cabin on spacious and wooded acreage. We’ve been visiting this cabin for 8 years now and keep coming back to it. It’s perfect for couples but we’ve also been with our 3 kids and had plenty of room. It’s fully stocked with everything you could possibly think of and the hosts are absolutely amazing!

We were greeted by Evan he was helpful telling us about the area the cabin was very clean my grandsons absolutely loved the fishing pond. Everything was pleasant. We were able to bbq and cook at the cabin which we loved. I would certainly recommend this cabin ♥️♥️♥️

Oh My Gosh!!!

Such an amazing property!! We hated to leave. Clean, comfy, lots of places to sit inside and outside. An over the top stocked kitchen; oj, cinnamon rolls, snax, wine, frozen foods, fruit and more. Seriously above and beyond. Evan is a great guy, fun to talk to, and easy to communicate with. We will be back! Thanks Evan!

Great Getaway!

The cabin is just far enough away from the city and traffic but still conveniently close to all the attractions. The trails around the property are nice for an early morning or late evening stroll. The cabin is stocked with everything needed so you don't have to go shopping as soon as you get there!

Our family relocated to Hot Springs from New Orleans following Katrina. We chose to live in this area because of its access to beautiful forests, mountain trails, pristine lakes and natural history.

Because we love the outdoors, we were fortunate to find this special 18-acre property which is surrounded by very private forests, yet only 20 minutes from downtown Hot Springs, 15 minutes from Oaklawn Race Track and close to beautiful lakes, horseback riding and canoeing.
