Remodeled contemporary house with cathedral ceilings. Open and bright with natural sunlight. Two levels, each with living room, 2 BR, full bath. Fully furnished. Sleeps 9.

The deck offers three levels, including an amazing water view from the top-level “widow’s watch”. Relax and enjoy views of Block Island and the Point Judith Harbor of Refuge. Walk to Roger Wheeler state beach or restaurants with great food and local charm.

How we prepare for your visit

Providing a clean vacation home ready for your family to enjoy has always been a top priority. (You’ll see the word “clean” mentioned in many of our reviews!) Here are just a few of the things that we do to prepare for your visit:

• All rooms will be cleaned thoroughly before your family’s arrival.
• We employ a reliable, professional cleaning company. Cleaning staff take extra care to clean/disinfect areas that are touched frequently such as doorknobs, door frames, light switches, handles and knobs, tables, nightstands etc.
• Pillow covers, mattress pads and bedspreads are changed each week, as are other fabric items, including bath mats, kitchen towels and hot pads. Couches and throw pillows are treated with disinfectant spray.

Excellent as always

This was our third year in a row staying at this house and we had a fantastic week. Jay and Jen are wonderful hosts. The house is beautiful and very well kept, and we love the location about 0.5 mile from Wheeler Beach and about 1 mile from Salty Brine. Kids really enjoyed the house too and had plenty of room to spread out.

Family Fun

I can’t say enough wonderful things about this experience. We had 2 families-grandparents and grandkids with parents for a total of 7 guests. The house is divided so well for this type of arrangement it gave us all our own space. The decks and yard were wonderful and we found yard games in the outdoor closet for entertainment. The house is in close proximity to 2 beaches that worked out very well. We also found it easy to get to other venues-restaurants, stores, ice cream, Mystic and Newport. The host was phenomenally easy to deal with and quite accommodating. We all loved the outdoor shower after a Sandy day at the beach. A great time was had by all. We would definitely stay at Jays house again in the future.

Wonderful outdoor space

This home was very clean with lots of seating outside on the deck. Downstairs suite was perfect for a family with children. Located in a quiet, pretty neighborhood.

Great family house

We enjoyed the clean spacious home, quiet neighborhood, and convenient location to beaches. There was plenty of room for our large family, and lots to keep kids occupied inside and out.

2nd Time Here

This was our second stay here. We love this house for our family of five. House is clean, close to the beach with a water view from the decks, good neighbors, and fantastic hosts. We’ve already booked for next year!

Great property for multi generational family

This is our second time staying in this beautiful home, and if anything it was more wonderful the second time! This home is very warm and inviting and fit our large group of young adults, older teens and a two-year-old very well. The shed with all the beach equipment is a fabulous touch and my grandson just loved having the yard to run around in, especially with all the bunnies. It's very centrally located, quick, walk to the restaurants and beach. And the house has lots of room for everyone to spread out in. A great vacation was had by all!!

Wonderful Stay

Had an issue the outdoor lights but the owner responded immediately. Throughly enjoyed our time there. Mini split A/C’s, outdoor shower, grill, are all great.

Narragansett Vacation

Had a wonderful time in Rhode Island using Jay’s 4 bedroom home in Narragansett. The location makes it easy to access various beaches, Missquamicut, Newport and Providence. There are many fine dining restaurants, economical breakfast and lunch dining spots, and some great ice cream and the famous “dough boys”. The house was immaculate, spacious, had 3 queen size beds, and a wonderful back deck, including a gas grill, where we spent a lot of time. Many beach chairs, umbrellas, and a corn hole game is available for use. The kitchen has all of the place settings, Keurig, dishwasher, pots and pans and utensils. Three tvs are available if you need them. Can’t go wrong in renting Jay’s vacation home in Narragansett!

Great Place!

Wonderful place. It was clean, had everything we needed and plenty of room for everyone to spread out. Close to beaches, Adventure Land, Theatre by the Sea. It was a great place to spend a week with our kids and grandkids.

Couldn’t have asked for a better spot

Both the house and location were great. The house and views are even better than the pictures show. Jen and Jay were fantastic hosts and it’s clear they put a lot of work and attention into making this a great vacation experience from the cleanliness and their responsiveness to the little things like leaving you a welcome gift. We will definitely be back.

Point Judith staycation

The house upon check in was neat and perfectly decorated with just the right amount of nautical themed decorations. The central air was LUXURIOUS during the heat wave. We spent many a night watching the sunset on the deck listening to music. 10/10 would recommend. Looking forward to booking next year as well!

Great property for all ages!

Just got back from spending a week at this amazing property! My husband and I brought our daughter and son in law, our grandson, our son, and our teenage daughter and nieces. It was a great place for all of us! Very clean with lots of space on a nice quiet street but close to the beach and restaurants. We loved it and can’t wait to go back!!!

Consistently great

My family and I have stayed here for 3 summers and we keep coming back because it is a great spot with many amenities. Owners Jan and Jay are great to deal with and very responsive. House is extremely clean and tidy. It is very conveniently located, within walking distance to Roger Wheeler, Aunt Carries. A very short ride to Narragansett and Scarborough beaches. The deck is great and perfect for relaxing in the evening, with nice cool breezes coming off the water. The addition of central air this summer was especially welcome! Wonderful to have two friges and large washer/dryer. My family and are are so pleased we found this Gem to spend our time together in, during our RI vacation

Great house!

We had a wonderful stay at the house! The deck was amazing - we had many great nights as a family out there. The house was well stocked and clean. Not having to bring our own beach gear was a huge plus as well! Jay was very responsive (as we had to communicate a few times due to a hurricane arriving on the second night of our stay!). We were so pleased with our stay!

Great house in a quiet neighborhood

My wife and I stayed with our daughter, son in law and two grandkids (1 & 4 years old) it is less than a mile to Roger Wheeler beach. Besides household appliance the house is equipped with pretty much all you would need for the beach (chairs, wagon, beach cart, boogie boards, pails, shovels). The owners couldn’t have been nicer we will be back.

Great week in Narragansett - awesome home and convenient neighborhood!

Very much enjoyed our stay and Jay and Jen's place... It was even better than described and the outdoor decks were a great place to unwind, smell the ocean air - (and get a nice view of the ocean all around you from the "birds nest" deck!) Wonderful place to re-connect with family and friends and super convenient to all the things RI has to offer!

Very wonderful house.

The house had everything we needed. Jay was amazing at answering all questions. The house was very clean and very comfortable! The only thing was us houses isn’t as close to the beach as I thought, but you are super close to a number of state beaches! Thank you!

Amazing vacation week at an amazing home!

We have stayed in Narragansett over the years and we have never stayed in a house this nice! This house was wonderful! It was clean, spacious and beautiful! We loved the fact that there was a downstairs area for the kids to have there own separate space! The decks and view were amazing! The kitchen is stocked with everything you need and all the things you would need for the beach are there for you! And I can’t forget to talk about the outdoor shower! It was private clean and so refreshing to take a shower outside after the beach. I had to contact Jay the host with a question and he got back to me immediately. We will never stay at another rental again in Narragansett! We have found the one!! We highly recommend and can’t wait to go back!

Recent stay

Loved the neighborhood and the ability to walk to the beach. The owners made sure we had what we would need for the beach, games and overall amenities in the house. They were receptive to all our questions and responded timely. Lovely to watch the sunset from the upper deck. Thanks for a great week Holly

Miss this house already!

There were 6 adults and 2 teens and all of us raved about our stay! The property was incredibly clean! All blankets and pillows were washed and bagged. The place was immaculate and there were lots of cleaning supplies and disinfectant available as well. We were very impressed with the attention to detail. The kitchen was well stocked with anything you may need and the appliances were top of the line. It's beautifully decorated with a beachy feel and quality décor (including a downstairs fridge-SCORE!) Beach chairs, a wagon and other items were stored and accessible- very helpful. So was the clothes line and outdoor shower! Communication was the best I've experienced when using vrbo or Airbnb-In advance we received welcoming emails including lots of info about the area. During our stay, the owners were very responsive as well- they even left a little welcome care package for us and came when we arrived because we had trouble w/ the door code. The decks are a definite huge bonus! We spent most of our time there catching the breeze and watching the sunset. The double french doors let in a nice breeze. We visited during the hottest week of the summer - the 2 bedroom window units upstairs did the job but we had a pregnant woman staying downstairs-the provided fan helped but window units in the downstairs bedrooms may be a nice addition if possible. One tip- bring bicycles! It's a dead end street and super quiet. My kids enjoyed just riding around. The walk to the beach is a little long (about 15 mins) as you have to go out to the main road, then back around and down to the beach. On a bike though it's 5 minutes - super easy ride and no avoid paying for parking LOL Overall one of the nicest homes we've stayed in and some of the nicest/communicative owners. I asked (knowing it was probably impossible) if we could extend our week because we didn't want to leave!

Great place in convenient location

Very clean and well-kept. The furniture and beds were all in great condition. Located on a quiet street near beaches and other attractions. Good wifi coverage. Large washer and dryer. Second refrigerator and ice machine on the lower level were especially useful. Definitely interested in renting this house again if we have the opportunity!
