Kick back and relax in this little gem in downtown Bend.

Centrally located in the Drake Park Historic district of Bend, this 1915 house of Ernest & Elizabeth Hanna is truly historic. It has been internally, totally remodeled but the exterior is by and large as it was built over 100 years ago.

The home is a short walk to central Bend, Drake park and the Deschutes River. The park is at the the end of the street less than 100 yards away. Downtown Bend is less than 1/4 mile, 5 minute walk, to its cosmopolitan dining and eclectic shopping. You will relish the knockout streetscapes in this gorgeous old part of town.

Just park the car and walk!

The home was was remodeled with quality inclusions including cherry Cabinets, stainless appliances, hard wood flooring, porcelain counters, tile flooring in the kitchen and baths, central gas heating, air conditioning. This comfortable 2 bedroom, 2 bath sleeps four and comes fully equipped with just about all your visiting needs.

Beautiful Craftsman Cottage

This property was perfect for my husband, daughter and myself. Nice street close to the river and Old Town. We could walk to shopping, restaurants and activities. Lots of street parking. Kitchen had everything we needed. Very clean and cozy. Hope to stay longer next time.

Great walkable location

House is located within walking distance near most everything that you need-old mill district, downtown bend, Deschutes river trail, Drake park, etc. Owner was very responsive when we asked a question and flexible on our check-out since we had a late flight. We used the kitchen to cook a couple of meals but plenty of restaurants, brewpubs and take-out options near by. House is clean and comfortable. If you plan to visit Deschutes national forest, you can get a NW Pass at the near by Sinclair station. Our favorite spot in this house was the front porch. There is a large birch tree in the front that provides privacy and shade. It was a great place to relax after an active day. We played lots of backgammon(included with the rental). Next time we visit Bend, we plan to rent this house again!

The location is terrific, the house is cozy and well-equipped, and the owner was friendly and quick to respond to questions. Definitely in our VRBO top five!

Perfect Location

You can’t get a much better location for a stay in Bend. Easy access to downtown, Drake park, Old Mill, the Amphitheater. The house is clean and cozy. The beds are comfortable and the kitchen is well stocked.

Lovey cottage near the river

This is the perfect home for a group of 4. Well furnished, comfortable beds. Great kitchen. The park and river are 2 minutes away at the end of the street. Close to everything but a nice quiet neighborhood. We hope to come back some day.

Exceptional Craftsman home in Old Bend.

What an amazing Craftsman home! The owner, Bruce, is wonderful! We were able to check-in early (our flights changed) and oh, my goodness, the walkability is stellar. Should we be in Bend again in the future, we will definitely see if this gorgeous, well-kept, beautiful home is available. We walked a short couple of blocks to downtown and enjoyed yummy food, too. So fun!!

Awesome Host!

Bruce was so kind to get us into the house early on the day of our check in. He really went above and beyond knowing that we had our dog with us and we were able to check in two hours earlier. The place was clean and I loved the fresh flowers that were left for us on the table throughout our stay. This was our second time at Bruce’s home and it’s our favorite place in Bend.

Great location

We enjoyed the ability to walk to old town and the central location. Cute house. Remodeled. Comfortable beds, but they were missing a top sheet. I'd like to see the owner address that.

Home away from home in Old Bend

This was our second visit to this excellent property, and we will be back again. This cozy Craftsman has everything our family of three needs and then some. We make all our own meals and love the kitchen, which is better equipped than any other VRBO we have stayed in. Bruce is a thoughtful and generous host who showed us much appreciated flexibility in our arrival and departure times. Highly recommended.

Would do it again

Great property in a great location. Bruce texted to let us know we could check in early. Gave us some pointers about the area (especially parking). House was in a great location, just across the street from Drake Park. House was well stocked and very comfortable with a number of modern updates but still holding on the the original charm. Would definitely rent this again.

Great location

Everything we needed for the weekend stay. The house was cozy and had a nice yard that was dog friendly. A block away from a beautiful park and river. Walking distance to restaurants and shops.

Great location, short walk to downtown, close to the river

Property is a classic 2 bedroom bungalow that is well maintained. Nicely furnished. Quiet neighborhood, great for relaxing. Located 1/2 block to the river and a short walk to downtown. I would definitely stay here again.

Great little house with superlative location

We loved staying at this property. It was the perfect getaway for my husband and I over New Years. It has all the amenities you need so leave towels, dishes, pots, pans, and drinking glasses at home. The small fenced-in yard was great for the dog. And the location is steps away from mirror pond. Highly recommended.

Perfect location!

Quiet neighborhood and perfect distance for walking to downtown for drinks, shopping or dinner. We brought our dog and loved walking across the street to Drake park.

Location, location, location!

Clean, well stocked, perfect location, with all the bells and whistles! You can spend the day exploring Bend on foot (just a half block from the Deschutes/Drake Park!) and then snuggle in for a meal or snack with many options on the Apple TV. The beautiful houseplants and fresh cut flowers are a bonus! Thanks for sharing your special place with us!

Epic Bend spot

We absolutely loved staying here! The location was truly everything, and we could walk to all our favorite places! The neighborhood is charming and quiet! It is just a quick walk to Mirror pond and about 7 minutes to town! The house felt like home and was so comfortable for the 4 of us! We will Be back to this location! Thanks Bruce! Cheers!

Awesome, clean house with a perfect location

Our stay exceeded expectations! The house was perfectly clean, nice and has a great fenced in backyard. Bruce was super responsive and provided everything we needed. The bed was comfortable and AC worked great - and the river/Drake Park was just steps away! Thanks again.
