The two condos we rented were side by side together, and located in a quiet grove of trees well back from the busy route 3 road. So it was quiet and secluded while permitting us to quickly drive to scenic spots, the beautiful harbor and other great attractions. Parking was easy with plenty of space to maneuver our cars, three of them. We had 12 people with all of our grandchildren so we needed two place to have everyone comfortable. The inside of each condo contained separate mini-split airconditioners which cooled each room quickly and completely, and both cottages has televisions with easy access to streaming services. The kitchen had many extras that made using the stove, refrigerator and dishwasher convenient, including a small outdoor deck with a small table. There is a washing machine and dryer with the necessary soap in a small closet, and all of the bathrooms had a toilet, sink and a shower and/or a bathtub. So all of our needs were met, although several sinks were slow to drain, something I forgot to inform the owner of. The owners were very fast to respond to any needs we had, repairs that needed to be made, so we enjoyed our stay there. I suppose we were surprised by the cost of renting two condos (about 15K for the week, but then we found no others that could house 12 people at the peak of the vacation season, so the demand for such places, especially at such a great place like Bar Harbor is to be expected. Also,all bedrooms were on the second floor
