Family vacation stay - perfect for our group. Enjoyed the large dining room, kitchen, porch, and lawn. Location great for smaller groups walking to town.

The Shore Path Cottage house was just perfect for our extra large group of friends (9 couples) to all be together under one roof. The hosts were so accommodating, welcoming and responsive! The home’s location is absolutely perfect, with ample parking, and the view is beautiful! We made full use of the house, the large kitchen, the porch, the big yard, the indoor and outdoor games, the fire pit and the shore path access! Everyone thoroughly enjoyed their stay in Bar Harbor, and had we been able to stay longer, I think we all would have loved more days of just sitting on the porch enjoying the view of the water! We hope to be back again someday!

Elizabeth our host was so welcoming and responsive to all of our needs. The location in town is excellent for restaurants, shops and close access to Acadia. The house is spacious and homey with large rooms to accommodate family needs. We hope to return!

We had a wonderful week at the Shore Path Cottage with our extended family. The home is situated in an ideal location near all the charm of Bar Harbor, yet feels quiet and secluded with large green space for children to play. Roberta warm welcome was especially kind. Highly recommend this spot for families!

Fabulous location and home

Perfect for our group of 10 friends for a week enjoying Acadia and surrounds. Fabulous home allowed us to cook and eat together, hang out, and also have quiet privacy if needed.

Family Vacation

This was the perfect property for a multigenerational family vacation. The location was also ideal right on the water and a short walk to town and easy drive to Acadia National Park. The host was very helpful.

The Perfect Vacation

Great location, convenient to everything. Host was very friendly and accommodating. Beds were very comfortable and house was exceptionally clean. Relaxing in the Backyard with a water view was so special.

Wonderful house

Our second stay in the house and it was fantastic again. I'm not sure anything compares to this house and location. Loved it.

This home is absolutely beautiful and the location is perfect with stunning view of the bay and walking distance to all the wonderful restaurants and shops! Top of the line appliances in a dream kitchen! Lovely bedrooms with numerous bathrooms! Roberta the host and Lisabeth the property manager are two of the nicest people you’ll ever meet! If you’re planning a trip to Bar Harbor this home will not disappoint!!!

Fabulous place

Wonderful, charming old home, full of character with plenty of places to eat, visit and enjoy the locale. The location can't be beat, steps from town, the ocean and a short drive into Acadia, easy to beat the crowds and get parking. We are coming back next year! Five stars.
