Bright and Cheery 3 Bedroom Home w/Wifi and Laundry

Bright, cheery, clean and nicely updated house located just outside of a classic VT town in the middle of farm country is ready for you and your guests. The entire house is yours w/3 bedrooms, comfortably sleeping up to 7, full kitchen, washer/dryer, high speed WiFi, 55" TV and plenty of parking. The kitchen comes fully stocked with spices, cleaning products for spills and of course dishes, bowls, sliverware and various glasses. When the weather allows, enjoy lounging on the front porch and grilling/relaxing in the backyard. This home is located w/in 45 minutes of 3 major ski slopes and just a few minutes from Lake St. Catherine and Lake Bomoseen with access to fishing, swimming and hiking. Many of our guests have enjoyed golfing at Lake St. Catherine Country Club, biking on the Slate Valley Trails and running on the Rail Trail-all in Poultney. Visit nearby restaurants, diners, bars, grocery store and gift shop. This home is available for short and long term stays.

Thanks so much to Maya for sharing her home with us. We had a great time visiting friends for the weekend. The house was perfect for us. Maya was very responsive to my questions, check in was easy and the house was clean and well stocked. Would definitely recommend this house and would stay again.

Second time staying at Maya's place in Vermont and everything was as good as the first time. Clean, easy and cost efficient. Very nice place to stay and would suggest it to anyone I know.

We had a good stay overall. Check-in and check-out were easy, and the location was very convenient for fishing, kayaking, golfing, and visiting Pond Hill Ranch Rodeo and VTSU-Castleton. The beds were comfortable, the WiFi was great, and we appreciated having A/C in each bedroom as well as the living room—it all worked very well.The house was basically clean, although it could use a more thorough deep cleaning and dusting. The plug-in air fresheners were quite strong, and it seemed like they may have been used to cover some lingering old-house smells.The stairs weren’t an issue for us, but they are quite steep and worth noting. Since all of the bedrooms are upstairs, the house likely wouldn’t be a good fit for anyone with mobility issues.Overall, it was a comfortable and convenient stay, the price was excellent, and we enjoyed our time there.

Concerning your feedback-out of 200 stays and 104 reviews across two STR platforms, we have never had a comment about the smell of the house or air fresheners. In four years of hosting, we have also never had a suggestion for a deep clean-we are very highly rated for cleanliness. Beautiful, perfect, clean and easy. I can not wait to go back. Very nice upgrades that don’t take away from the age of the house or the location. One of the nicest homes and forget the cost. Easily worth more. (Please don’t raise the price though). Going back in a couple of weeks and would definitely pass it on to friends and family to enjoy. Nicely done. A.
